Tucker Carlson: China Laughs At America’s Baizou

This was one of Tucker’s best monologues.

He even quoted the Global Times to make his point that the Chinese are laughing at Joe. They think political correctness is stupid but have weaponized it to advance Chinese interests. Why wouldn’t they be delighted that the declining “superpower” is being crippled by this nonsense?

“Baizou” is the Chinese word for all the woke brats.

Global Times:

“Baizuo refers to people who “only care about topics such as immigration, minorities, LGBT and the environment,” who “have no sense of real problems in the real world,” who only advocate for peace and equality to “satisfy their own feelings of moral superiority” and who are “obsessed with political correctness” that they “tolerate backward Islamic values for the sake of multiculturalism,” reads Zhang’s article published in opendemocracy.com on May 11.

The term baizuo is not limited to referring to the white liberal elites, as former US president Obama was considered as an advocate of baizuo ideology. According to Zhang, the Chinese public mentioned that baizuo first emerged to describe German Chancellor Angela Merkel and her decision to welcome more than 1 million third-world immigrants to Europe, which infringed upon Chinese people’s right to stay in Europe. Other terms like “holy mothers” have also been invented to ridicule Western politicians who welcome Muslim immigrants and help Islamicize Europe.

On Zhihu, a Chinese question-and-answer website, the question “why are well-educated elites in the West seen as naïve ‘white left’ in China?” has received more than 400 answers.

One of the users said that baizuo are people “who advocate inclusiveness and anti-discrimination but cannot tolerate different opinions.” Another Zhihu user wrote that baizuo‘s opinions were so shallow that they tend to maintain social equality by embracing ideologies that run against the basic concept of equality.

“Chinese people don’t like the group because they think baizuo always exhibit a sense of superiority and hold a tough attitude towards China,” said Zhu Feng, a professor at Peking University’s School of International Studies.

Some people believe baizuo are phony and hypocritical and will make the situation in the West go from bad to worse, said Zhang Yiwu, a cultural scholar at Peking University. …”

So what does ‘white left’ mean in the Chinese context, and what’s behind the rise of its (negative) popularity? It might not be an easy task to define the term, for as a social media buzzword and very often an instrument for ad hominem attack, it could mean different things for different people. A thread on “why well-educated elites in the west are seen as naïve “white left” in China” on Zhihu, a question-and-answer website said to have a high percentage of active users who are professionals and intellectuals, might serve as a starting point …”

These are the people who are the governing wing of the Democratic Party or the White upper middle class, college-educated professionals who have modernist values. The Democratic Party is sharply divided between Democratic Independent Liberal Elites (DILEs) and their working class base. Apparently, the Chinese understand and perceive these people in the same way that I do.

China has sized up America’s future leadership and has concluded that they are a bunch of decadent losers ripe for a fall who are highly skilled in political correctness and discovering new genders and pronouns. While China is building up a military machine, we are nurturing xirs and xes.

    • Im just so glad Carlson is defending the “ambitious and talented immigrants” and Asian students being discriminated. No mention of White people. But he cant do that, he has to own the libs

      • Yeah, Carlson spent about half of his show cucking for Asians/Orientals. I had to change the channel.

      • I know Carlson is telling half truths and doesn’t defend Whites but I think he was talking about the Chinese govt laughing at our weakness as a whole. I don’t watch him because he speaks carefully and will not cross the PC bounds when it comes to pointing out the war on Whites.

  3. Though I have serious qualms about the manner in which President Biden got into office, I am sincerely sorry for his plight and wish him well.

    I can only imagine what it would be like to take such a tumble, while the world is watching.

    This really is not funny, not in the slightest.

    I hope that, in the future, President Biden shall stay at home in The White House, in the loving bosom of his wife, and take hot toddies and BLTs from those on the staff most qualified to proffer such.

    • Ivan, your comments always exhibit a seriousness of purpose and empathy towards others, even those people you disagree with on the merits of an issue. That display of adult wisdom in the face of the insults we face every day is normally appropriate in all circumstances, as it can swing non-judgmental persons our way in the ongoing conflict in 2021 America.
      However, the the case of Joseph Biden, I must dissent. Biden has been a 50 year acolyte of the Empire of Evil, doing his level best to make life economically insecure for all but the .000001%, going along with the forever wars, killing dark skinned people overseas for fun and profit for the war machine, and locking up people in the federal criminal injustice system for decades for trivial harms perpetrated. He also is no doubt fully aware of the plot by his former partner in crime Obama and the rest of TPTB to abuse power to try remove and/or neuter Trump, including blatantly stealing the 2020 presidential election.
      In other words, Biden is a perfect reflection of the forces of darkness and selfishness alighted against the 99.999999 to make their lives hell so the already successful can never lose. He deserves to be burned alive in a 55-gallon oil barrel like the Mexican drug cartels practice as a business model. No sympathy for Joe or anyone else a party to the Empire of Evil.

        I just want to be clear about something : my belief is that the only way forward for Dixie is to be honourable, polite, chivalrous, and kind.

        None of those traits, our values, by the way, have anything to do with submissiveness, surrender, or turning the other cheek, but, then I am sure that you know that.

        In the end, we, White Southerners, cannot blame President Biden for the fact he is president, or what sort of president he is, but, only ourselves, for we are the ones who insist on remaining a vital cog in an empire that hates the thought of seeing us in anything but a submissive endlessly to be reconstructed according to their whims’s mold.

        Yes, we are entirely to blame for our circumstances, because, the moment we decide to change them, the gates of hell will not prevail against us.

        It’s a matter of will and I wait as patiently as I can whilst White Southerners awake from a near century long slumber.

        Biden is not real the issue for Dixie, anymore than Trump was the real issue for The Northeast.

        They are merely visible symbols and symptoms of a vast complex of issues that define this country, at this time.

        The issues are what must be addressed, not the figureheads.

  5. Good post. The apt Chinese term Baizou, referring to imperial Neoliberalism, should be adopted and used frequently by the true Left outside China also.

    On the other hand, it may not be not strategically wise to alert the Empire that it is wearing no clothes.

    And with Biden making moves (falls) like Gerald Ford the only thing Biden has going for him is that he is a Democrat and not a Republican. So, SNL and other humor for profit outfits will probably go light on him. Too bad, Chevy Chase could come back and do numerous slapstick fall skits on SNL and at this time he would look more like Ford and Biden than he did back in the 1970s in his younger days — that is if he could take the physical demands or have a stunt man double perform them.

  8. Contemporary America shows what happens when a country has their elite positions filled by people without elite ability. Lacking achievements born in the disciplines of courage, honor, and hard work , our elites have to have some other way to legitimize themselves: credentialism and wokeness are their answer to that need.

    • The meeting with the Chinese the other day was a great example of this. Serious Chinese diplomats sitting down with a goofy homosexual Jew who got his position through nepotism and some blue-haired dyke he brought along for whatever reason. The Chinese level some deep criticisms and his only response is to repeat Biden campaign slogans like “America is back.” This current crop of Jews aren’t on the level of Kissinger, that’s for sure.

    • Asians actually seem to be more upset that Europe is turning into a dump than Europeans do. Asians want to be able to go visit castles and historical cities without getting stabbed and robbed by Africans and Arabs.

  12. I hate China, Israel, and the white left. I hate that we have this chronic inability or willpower to deal with them, yet can rain airstrikes down on Middle Eastern countries in unwinnable wars for whatever reason………when none of us want to be there in the first place.
    As for ‘democracy’, what’s that ever done to help us? You get the same policies regardless of party, and if someone puts themselves out there to make genuine improvements, they’re pulled back into line by the unelected goons behind the scenes.
    While we’ve been preoccupied with useless conflicts in the Middle East, China is taking our jobs, buying our real estate and farms, expanding it territory and influence, and preparing for a war that would devastate the world.
    They also immigrate to the West, and intermarry with immoral whites, placing extra strain on our demographics.
    Things are being imposed on us that we NEVER said we wanted, or were asked about.

    Given they don’t take the white left seriously, but are willing to use their bullshit as a weapon against the U.S., it would follow they don’t have any good intent toward us either.

    Has there been the outreach and shadow funding of our dissident movement like the communist party was doing of the american left in the 60’s and 70’s?

    Alot of our issues with these boomers are a direct result of the cultural revolution and the communists infiltration here.

    I for one am secure in my longtime assertion that they are our racial enemies, and a far greater threat than Jews.

    I’ve always hated the adulation the dissident right heaps on the chinese. It smacks of sycophancy.

    I envy their racial cohesion, but they are alien, and aren’t even honorary white like the Irish.
