Friedman Getting Scared

Flat earther Thomas Friedman is getting alarmed about the unfolding economic crisis:

My fellow Americans: We are a country in debt and in decline — not terminal, not irreversible, but in decline.

Yeah, the sprawl looks different when you aren’t whizzing down the Interstate at 90 mph. Try walking up and down the hideous spectacle of fast food shacks, big box stores and muffler shops some time. Take in the view. The folly of constructing our entire society around the automobile (which depends upon access to cheap gasoline) quickly becomes apparent.

Have you been to Stormfront lately? Many of the folks over there, mostly the Christian Identity nuts, can’t seem to gasp the idea of Peak Oil. Many of the them are parroting the line that it’s a conspiracy by oil companies or by market spectators.

I haven’t posted on Stormfront in years.
