Conservatism: Lately, the term has been weighing heavily on me.
Searching my thoughts, I find that I have two mindsets on the subject. There is the phony American conservative movement that we are all familar with. These people are hopelessly infected with political correctness, philo-Semitism, and anti-racism. American conservatism is populated by ridiculous figures like Jonah [...]

White Preservationist has an ambitious plan to create White Nationalist colonies throughout the United States. These colonies would disengage from the American mainstream as far as possible: economically, politically, culturally, etc. In support of his plan, he points out that the Mormons and Amish have accomplished this in the past.

This is the eighth installment in this series.
Lately, I have spoken to a number of budding racialists about their background, and I was surprised to discover the sheer number of them who came out of the libertarian movement. Personally, I have never been a libertarian and have been suspicious about the extremes of liberty since [...]

The second installment in this series. I want to deal with the bad first, the good second.
The second topic on my list: America’s car culture, suburban sprawl, and its unlivable, unwalkable metropolitan areas. This has nothing to do with our meeting of old forum comrades, which I thoroughly enjoyed, but rather its choice of location. When not [...]

I’m currently enjoying Kunstler’s The Geography of Nowhere. Here’s an excerpt:

At TakiMag, commentator Leon Haller presents an unorthodox definition of conservatism that is indistinguishable from hard communitarianism:
Conservatism may be defined (OK, roughly) as “the disposition to defend, or increase the power or influence of, the existential particularities of one’s communally formed identity; that is, one’s people, nation, culture, psyche, way of life; within the bounds of [...]

This is amusing:
My point is that it’s counterproductive to use such arguments– that it has socially toxic side effects, and WILL NOT WORK. Instead, I offer arguments against the same government policies that are less divisive, and have (I argue) a better chance of working.
Racialism is neutral on the subject of “big government.” It is [...]

For once, I agree with John Zmirak: it is the strength of our communities that makes the West worth fighting for, not our capacity to produce wealth or love of universal reason. This is why activities and discourses which demoralize the community, which seem to make it not worth caring about (such as suburban sprawl or the [...]

Richard Spencer writes:
It’s Primitivism Lite, a more presentable version of the fantasy that one day the modern world will finally collapse and we’ll all be whole again.
1.) There is nothing primitive at all about advocating the end of single use zoning or recognizing the manner in which the culture of the automobile has deformed the entire [...]
