Taliban Spokesman: “Our Priority Is The Return of Security In Afghanistan”

As the Taliban are pointing out, the whole reason that tens of thousands of people are gathering at the Kabul airport is to get their golden ticket to be flown to a Western country and resettled here and to live off welfare. Alternatively, they could stay in their own country, live under sharia law and be given amnesty. You can imagine who wants to get out of Afghanistan.

  1. Anything these people could contribute to the West should instead be used to benefit their own nation and people. If they can somehow improve America with their presence, then they can also improve Afghanistan. If not, then we don’t need or want them anyway. They need to be real men, or women, stop running off to YT like gutless cowards, and just help rebuild their own nation in their ideal modelling. We don’t want them………. we’re fine. Thanks anyway…..

    • At least they are cohesive and have a common goal, something we aren’t allowed to have. While I don’t care for theocracies, they have a right to not have some big foreign government patrolling their streets.

    • @anonymous same. The tiresome John McCain war mongering talk coming from disgusting puppets like Zipclops Crenshaw is so predictable and tiresome. I wish these people well. They want self rule which they deserve. Keep all their people there

  2. Many of the bombing victims were killed by gun fire. American military is not denying. There was no ISIS-K firing on the crowds.

  3. It’s too bad our “free” press here in the Jewnited Snakes never bothers to interview Taliban officials. Instead we have to rely on heavily biased spin from Zionist jew gatekeepers.

  4. The US Empire is literally Satan incarnate – everything we touch results in death, misery, suffering and destruction. Some day, the karma this country will experience will make the Sack Of Rome look like child’s play.

  5. Excellent piece on Telesur today by the prize-winning (but now blacklisted by the establishment) British journalist John Pilger: https://www.telesurenglish.net/opinion/John-Pilger-The-Great-Game-of-Smashing-Nations-20210828-0003.html

Excerpt: “As a tsunami of crocodile tears engulfs Western politicians, history is suppressed. More than a generation ago, Afghanistan won its freedom, which the United States, Britain and their ‘allies’ destroyed. In 1978, a liberation movement led by the People’s Democratic Party of Afghanistan (PDPA) overthrew the dictatorship of Mohammad Dawd, the cousin of King Zahir Shah. It was an immensely popular revolution that took the British and Americans by surprise. Foreign journalists in Kabul, reported The New York Times, were surprised to find that “nearly every Afghan they interviewed said they were delighted with the coup.’ The Wall Street Journal reported that ‘150,000 persons marched to honor the new flag…the participants appeared genuinely enthusiastic.’ The Washington Post reported that ‘Afghan loyalty to the government can scarcely be questioned.’ Secular, modernist and, to a considerable degree, socialist, the government declared a program of visionary reforms that included equal rights for women and minorities. Political prisoners were freed and police files were publicly burned. Under the monarchy, life expectancy was 35 and 1-in-3 children died in infancy. Ninety percent of the population was illiterate. The new government introduced free medical care. A mass literacy campaign was launched. For women, the gains had no precedent; by the late 1980s, half the university students were women and women made up 40 percent of Afghanistan’s doctors, 70 percent of its teachers and 30 percent of its civil servants. So radical were the changes that they remain vivid in the memories of those who benefited…

On July 3, 1979, unknown to the American people and Congress, President Jimmy Carter authorized a $500 million “covert action” program to overthrow Afghanistan’s first secular, progressive government. This was code-named by the CIA Operation Cyclone. The $500 million bought, bribed, and armed a group of tribal and religious zealots known as the mujahedin. In his semi-official history, Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward wrote that the CIA spent $70 million on bribes alone. He describes a meeting between a CIA agent known as ‘Gary’ and a warlord called Amniat-Melli: ”Gary placed a bundle of cash on the table: $500,000 in one-foot stacks of $100 bills. He believed it would be more impressive than the usual $200,000, the best way to say we’re here, we’re serious, here’s money, we know you need it. Gary would soon ask CIA headquarters for and receive $10 million in cash.’ Recruited from all over the Muslim world, America’s secret army was trained in camps in Pakistan run by Pakistani intelligence, the CIA and Britain’s MI6. Others were recruited at an Islamic College in Brooklyn, New York – within sight of the doomed Twin Towers. One of the recruits was a Saudi engineer called Osama bin Laden. The aim was to spread Islamic fundamentalism in Central Asia and destabilize and eventually destroy the Soviet Union….”

  6. However, Pilger does not explain that the PDPA probably moved too fast, imposing change too quickly on the agrarian rural population which was still feudal, illiterate and lacking clear class consciousness; and it was not able to provide the cashless rural poor (the vast majority of the population) with assistance against the inevitable backlash from the wealthy landlords. The revolution that began naturally was becoming increasingly Trotskyist, following the “formula” for “permanent revolution” involving top-down violently-enforced dictates, instead of bottom-up, natural, organic change. Nevetheless I think the republic would have endured to this day without U.S. interference. Now it may come back.

  7. The new name ISIS-K (meaning Khorasan Province) rather proves to me these terror outfits and supposed enemies of the west are actually western creations armed by and under the orders of their security services. When you form an organisation … a business, sports team, armed group, charity, NGO … you choose a name that embodies who you are and why you came to be. That never changes even if your mission does.

It can happen in business when a company fails or is wrapped up for debt, fraud, loss, tax reasons etc, and moves on. Renaming ISIL to ISIS then ISIS-K sounds like a business plan makeover as its advertising spiel adapts to a changing market and customer base. Another explanation would be western propaganda.

  8. What is not being spelled out clearly is who are these American Citizens who are stranded in Afghanistan? Are they heritage Americans there under some sort of professional contract to support the Nato government? Or were they just Afghans with the typical piece of paperwork citizenship in western countries that our elites have been handing out like candy to third worlders? If the later it probably explains why the Taliban doesn’t let them pass, they don’t really consider them Americans anymore than say we would consider Brad Pitt an “Chinese Citizen” if he bribed the CCP into handing him such paperwork, (which of course they don’t as they understand only Chinese can be Chinese.)
