Joe Biden Celebrates June Jobs Report

It isn’t all bad news for Joe.

COVID is fading in spite of the hysteria about the Delta variant. You can also throw a stone through any town around here in Central Alabama and hit five or six “Now Hiring” signs.

Axios:

“Americans are going back to work at a faster clip — and getting paid more to do so.

Driving the news: The U.S. economy added a better-than-expected 850,000 jobs in June. Average hourly earnings jumped 3.6% from a year ago, in a continuation of the trend seen over the past two months.

Why it matters: These numbers back up anecdotal evidence from employers across the country. Demand for workers is strong, forcing employers to raise the amount they’re offering to be able to compete. …”

COVID and the economy are still top tier issues.

I’m not sure what it is like in other states. Alabama never had a draconian lockdown. The economy is definitely picking back up again in my area.

Note: Gas prices and grocery prices continue to suck though.

  1. “economy is definitely picking back up again”

    Well duh !

Inject over 2 trillion debt finance, and get a little bump. With that amount, everyone should be rollin high on coin.

This is the fun phase of debt/inflation, the consequences are yet to come.

  2. Three jobs lost (two are shit jobs to start with, one is maybe OK) to one “new” shit job or bullshit gov’t job “created” by the current regime. Now that’s what I call some real New American Maff.
