DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas: We’re Facing The Worst Border Crisis In Twenty Years

The “accelerationists” were right.

If you wanted to change public opinion or “metapolitics,” worse was better.

FOX News:

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Tuesday said that the U.S. is on track to encounter more migrants than it has in the last 20 years, as he defended the administration’s approach to a border surge that he described as “difficult” – but again fell short of calling it a crisis.

“The situation at the southwest border is difficult,” Mayorkas said in a lengthy statement. “We are working around the clock to manage it and we will continue to do so. That is our job. We are making progress and we are executing on our plan.  It will take time and we will not waver in our commitment to succeed.” …”

Here is the reality of the situation on the border:

Consider the following:

  • In light of Joe’s weakness on immigration and the unity of Republican voters and the intensity of the sentiment about this issue, it is extremely unlikely that anything passes the Senate
  • The fact that the situation on the border is hurting Democrats with “Latinx” voters makes it even more unlikely that an amnesty passes Congress because they are being already blamed for the rush on the border while Trump is getting credit for halting migration
  • In order to retain control of Congress, Democrats have to turn in one of their best performances ever in the 2022 midterms
  • Not only have Democrats repeated the very same mistake that led to the chain of events that gave them Trump, they have created a crisis that exceeds the 2014 migrant crisis in Obama’s second term

Will the Trump voters and Independents “punish” the Democrats again for losing control of the border as Adam Serwer worries about in The Atlantic or will they be satisfied with getting a one time $1,400 check with reduced eligibility from Joe Biden and remember that a year and a half from now?

The immigration crisis on the border is infuriating Trumpists and Independents and alienating “Latinx” Democrats and raising the salience of the issue which we know for a fact animates Republican voters and is a political winner for them. Joe’s announcement that he is the new LBJ is going to rile up the wealthy suburban swing voters. In addition to this, the Democrats will be defending Congress in 2022 in the middle of a brutal crime wave sweeping across inner cities and on the basis of being the wokest and most politically correct and cosmopolitan version of the Democratic Party that has ever existed and as a result with a much thinner majority to defend than, say, Bill Clinton or Barack Obama.

  1. In the end, The Biden-Harris Administration will do what The Trump Administration did : hide the United States’ Slave System, by doing it through some other less flagrant means, all the while continuing to excoriate The South for it’s slave practices.

In the end, this country will break up, Whites will have our areas and Latins will have theirs – mostly where they were in the first place – California, New Mexico, and Arizona.

    • Hmmm,
I kinda doubt that. More like the Balkans, ethnic groups warring on each other, but without NATO to stop it

      • @Arrian…

        I respectfully disagree.

No, Sir – as this country reorganizes, ethnic groups may have brief flare-ups, of no consequence, but, on the whole, will participate in a peace process of resegregating the land.

Folks do not want to shoot at each other for being as The Good Lord made them, but, rather, would simply like to live in peace and harmony with their own kind.

No doubt this is news to the Leftist Government types, who patrol blogs like this, but, to any student of history, or the way people are, it’s just a mundane truth that is so obvious you might miss it, particularly if you addicted to thinking about humans and Humankind in a theoretical way.

  2. The UK is quarantining all visitors. I’d assume the same for border jumpers too. What is going on with these people?

    • The UK is quarantining its gate crashers; but, still letting them in, and paying their room and board in pricey hotels. At taxpayer’s expense. And same as here, once they get in they are almost certainly not going to be sent back.

  3. “”…Will the Trump voters and Independents “punish” the Democrats…”””

By my opinion, no. Punishment is getting someone life destroyed so everybody can see that there is consequences for communist activity. Trump voters are incapable for this.

Punishment may come from brats who know what to do with Nazis and racists. Trump supporters are lightyears away forming something similar to Antifa what can really get things done.

  4. The irony (or tragedy) of all of this is that for the past 20 years we have been told over and over again that we need “21st century workers” with high-tech skills and Master’s degrees and Phd’s in order to compete on a global scale, in a global marketplace with China, Russia, Korea and Japan.

What happened to that argument and warning?

Where, in this vast mass of impoverished, uneducated humanity pouring across the border, are the future employees of Boeing, Microsoft, IBM, Apple, etc.????

The average IQ of these poor wretched people crossing the Rio Grande is between 56 to 69.
Their educational level is about 4th or 6th grade, from a poor Honduran, Mexican or Salvadoran school.

It is worth noting that NONE of our global competitors in the global marketplace are experiencing anything like this 3rd-world invasion on our southern border.

Would China or Russia still be on the ascendancy with millions upon millions of Africans and Latins pouring across their borders? I think not.

    • “It is worth noting that NONE of our global competitors in the global marketplace are experiencing anything like this 3rd-world invasion on our southern border.”

      Oh ?
What do you think is pouring into Europe, German Chemists ?

      • I SAID, “our global competitors” NOT our vassal states like Germany and Belgium.

Vassal states are NOT “competitors” in either the marketplace or the battlefield. They are vassals; conquered (i.e.”liberated”) states that our troops and business interests occupy and control.

Our prime competitors (rivals) are Russia and China. They are not vassal states: they are nuclear-armed powers with massive armies and weapon systems at their disposable. Not to mention, upwardly mobile economies that have rapidly expanded and modernized during the last 20 years.

And unlike the “diverse” and “welcoming” US, they (China and Russia) are NOT allowing millions upon millions of Africans, Arabs, Latins or other 3rd-world savages into their nations.

My point is that unlimited immigration from Latin America cripples us and our global competitors are not following us in our foolish folly.

        • I’m betting both Russia and China will be around long after the American experiment falls apart. Our government and mainstream culture are openly anti-white and pro population replacement. Like someone else said, Its going to be like Brazil without the fun.

  5. Fun fact: Alejandro Mayorkas supports very strong borders and strict citizenship policies in his country, Israel.

I think technically he was given a US passport but he’s not an American by any sort of substance at all. Yet he controls the Secret Service who protects politicians and America’s secret police, the DHS.

Biden’s cabinet is a disaster, it is literally a “Zionist-occupied government.” Then again Trump’s cabinet was just as bad.

  6. “Fun fact: Alejandro Mayorkas supports very strong borders and strict citizenship policies in his country, Israel.”

    Surprise, surprise!
