Reason: Conservatives Are Coming For Your Pornhub

Is libertarianism synonymous with cultural degeneration?

Los Angeles Times:

“While the rest of us were gearing up for the holiday season, a small group of conservatives was busy cranking up something a good deal less cheerful: a new war on pornography.

On Dec. 6, four members of Congress wrote a letter to Atty. Gen. William Barr, beseeching him to “declare the prosecution of obscene pornography a criminal justice priority,” and “bring prosecutions against the major producers and distributors of such material.” …

But these are the same people who also brought us a whole damn month last year of internecine conservative warfare over drag-queen story hour. They are itching to go on the offensive in the culture wars, whether on abortion or gender pronouns or porn, and they consider your constitutional objections to be about as relevant as stopping a tidal wave with a slide rule. …

The intellectual tendency toward leaning hungrily into the wind of power has been with us for all recorded history. So has, as any visitor to Pompei can tell you, the human desire to view sexual imagery. Trump-era manifesto artists, responding as they are to a democratic upheaval, are seeking to use anti-democratic means to criminalize expression enjoyed by tens of millions. A task that herculean will require much more than strongly worded letters.”

YES.

This is what economic and cultural deregulation has led to in practice: an explosion of scourges whether it is pornography addiction, deracination, feminism, incels, hookup culture, abortion, oligarchy, open borders, atheism, divorce, miscegenation, gender non-conformity, Drag Queen Story Hour, gay marriage, drug abuse, political correctness, multiculturalism, etc.

Every single one of these things is the result of individual liberty and individual rights being allowed to blow past a traditional limit. In the case of women, it was patriarchy and their customary duty to their children. In the case of pornography, it was obscenity laws. The postwar era glorified individual freedom, autonomy and expression, equal rights, the subversion of social hierarchies and the cult of the narcissistic Self and this mindset led to the dissolution of the limits on freedom and equality and left us burdened with the culture that we have now.

  1. more pre-election hot air from Cuckservatism Inc.

    yaaaaawwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. Cuck Inc.

is about as likely to stifle Jewporn as HW, Anglin, et al.

are to admit they got diddled by Drumpf.

  2. No fan of porno here, but I’d rather see law enforcement resources used for arresting and prosecuting ANTIFA for physical violence against us and others than see them going after porn producers who have billions to fight in court over things that may or may not even be criminal. It’s more important to convict street thugs for assault and perhaps even attempted murder and restore 1st Am rights for WHITE people than arguing in the courts about what is or what is not obscene. Also anti-Trust and other litigation against Big Tech for on line censorship.

  3. Border walls, mass immigration, forced racial assimilation, abortion, wars for Israel, legalized prostitution, fag and tranny conservatives, child trafficking for the rich and powerful, donors and blackmailers overrulling the voters.

Add porn to the list of things they are not serious about stopping.

    • Stopping porn will be about as effective as prohibition was.

The simpleminded can’t see that abatement could be far more effective than prohibition. There are methods more effective than a total ban.

    • “Add porn to the list of things they are not serious about stopping.”

This is just grandstanding, to impress the simpleminded electorate.

“Lookie, lookie at me , see how virtuous I am. Vote for me, I am more righteous than other guy.”

  4. I think I’m going to get a subscription to Hustler magazine after seeing their HILARIOUS Christmas cartoon which showed Trump lying dead and bloody on the pavement while people stand around saying Merry Christmas! I’ve always admired Larry Flynt.

    • Larry Flynt has been a big promoter of interracial sex, that’s the reason he was shot.

He’s the producer and financier of Snoop doggs interracial sex videos.

  5. This country is destined for Hell over legalized Sin. The Conservatives might talk about Family Values and Morals. However Free Market Capitalism rules in the Republican Party and it has no God. Christian Reconstruction and Nationalism is the solution….anything that’s bad for us should be banned / destroyed. We must have a country that follows Yahweh’s Laws. Deo Vindice !

  6. “economic and cultural deregulation has led to in practice: an explosion of scourges……”

But notice, the freedom to think has been restricted. You can’t assert that races are different, that there are vast genetic differences in abilities. You’re universally condemned if you point out the malevolence of a self-chosen tribe.

These ‘individual’s freedoms only go in one direction, to the perverse.

    • “Every single one of these things is the result of individual liberty”

Our ‘individual liberty’ should be going in the opposite direction. Toward greater concepts of political thinking, race realism, eugenics, merit socialism, voter qualification, internet education etc.

  7. Libertarianism is the purest form of liberalism. So, yes, as you rightly conclude, HW, libertarianism is synonymous with cultural degeneration, decay and rot. Albeit, not all forms of libertarianism are equal. But that’s a deep subject for another day.

A whole month, eh. Whoa! They’s some real intrepid devotees to they cause! LOL!

Well, if in fact that latter part is the case, “they” happen to be right on this one. People can use their interpretation of Constitutional principles and “rights” to object to anything they don’t like, but no one has a licit “Constitutional obection” to banning porn and/or putting its producers in the klink and throwing away the key. But of course where “they” are making a mistake (and don’t kid yourselves, “they” know they’re never going to win this fight, so their motives are not as pure or “conservative” as they would have us believe – See R.L. Dabney on Northern conservatism) is in playing the game according to the rules (Northern) radicals set up when they destroyed the federal principle and overthrew the original constitution to begin with. I.e., incorporating the Bill of Rights and imposing its dictates upon the states and local authorities. This in direct violation of both the spirit and letter of the ninth and tenth amendments, as well as the vaunted “supremacy clause” in Article VI, which the Federalist writers explained well enough (for anyone with half a brain, a modicum of common sense, and average reading comprehension skills) is a prohibition itself against absolute federal authority over state and local governments, particularly in regulating morals within their own jurisdictions.

Trump-era manifesto artists, responding as they are to a democratic upheaval, are seeking to use anti-democratic means to criminalize expression enjoyed by tens of millions. A task that herculean will require much more than strongly worded letters.”

I flatter myself that, at least within these here precincts, the use of “anti-democratic” means to such a purpose is not as dirty a concept as it is within the jurisdiction of that degenerate shit hole called Los Angeles and with the Jew (or judaized, as it were) writers of its premier publication. But I could of course be very wrong about that. In any case, the good ol’ U.S. of A. was never supposed to be “Our Democracy” in the first place, as retarded liberals like Paul Ryan and David French (et al) style it; it was supposed to be (and was for a while) a Federal Representative Republic, and that’s a whole ‘nother baby. But we’re going to have the “freedom” to have hard core pornography (and Drag Queen story hour, and circus sideshow freaks like Bruce Jenner, etc.) shoved down our collective throats good and hard whether we like it or not, and that is the bottom line here.

The writer of the article does get one thing right, though: the “herculean task” (s)he alludes to is in fact just that, and will require more (a lot more!) than a handful of fake conservatives in that circus (or, actually zoo) called the U.S. Congress writing a memorandum and handing it over to the A.G.’s office. If “conservatives” truly wish to regulate morality they have to do so within their own jurisdictions, and be willing to tell the federal authorities to go screw themselves when they declare such laws to be “unconstitutional,” a violation of “equal protection” and “due process” and blah blah. Same thing with the immigration problem, etc., etc. And that, my friends, means separation and hot war; it means curing fascism with more fascism. Which will occur eventually (as Prof. JMSmith has pointed out before, this sort of thing is of a kind that “the earth won’t long put up with”); it’s just a matter of time and the stars all aligning themselves just right. As I’ve said many times before, and repeat here as fair warning to all you libertarian nincompoops who think pornography is some sort of inviolable Constitutional right: ‘the iniquity of the Americanites is not yet full,’ which is why ‘Murika still exists. But when it is full, … Look out! Sudden destruction!

  8. Alcohol leads to 88,000 deaths yearly. It also leads to all kinds of violent and insane behavior.

How many people die from jacking off to porn?

Still, I don’t see any of you tight-assed prudes calling for a return to Prohibition. My guess is that most of you are alcoholics.

    • That certainly isn’t true for many of us.

As I’ve said, banning porn is impossible in the digital age, but there are many ways to mitigate it, as there are with alcohol.

    • Nathan Bedford Bonsai:

Sorry for the delay in responding, but to be perfectly honest I don’t really know whether to laugh or to cry at your, well, ignorance and stupidity on this topic. I mean, the juvenile name calling, coupled with assumptions about other people you do not know in any way (didn’t your father ever teach you that assuming anything about anyone “makes an ASS out of U and ME”? No? Well, I’m sorry for you, but that is the way it is.), coupled moreover with the obvious knee-jerk, emotion-driven (female) reactionism. Well, I mean, it is all just too much.

Tell ya what: why don’t you give us all a rational, coherent argument for why “jacking off to porn” is a wonderful thing, or a good thing, or even a mostly innocuous thing, aside from your intimation that it results in zero deaths by comparison to heavily publicized alcohol related deaths.

P.S. If you want to regulate alcohol usage within your own jurisdiction, then by all means use whatever means you have available to you to do so! You’ll get no pushback from me. Moreover, if or when my own decide alcohol usage ought to be more strictly regulated within our jurisdictions, I will climb on board their bandwagon quick, fast, and in a hurry. BUT… if you, or they, decide their pet project should be a nationwide thing strictly enforced outside their own jurisdictions, with the help of the “federal” government and activist federal judges and courts, then we have a problem! And that’s the bottom line on this illicit comparison/contrast you have stupidly made.

As to “pornography on demand,” or whatever you want to call it, we can talk about the Jeffrey Dahmers of the world and that sort of thing if you like, but I forewarn you that you are going to lose, and lose hard, and look like a total ass when all is said and done. I say again, your libertarian dispositions (while laudable in certain respects) will get you into a world of shit before it is all over. Not just with me and people like me, but with life in general. But, hey, I suppose I’m game if you are, so let’s get it on!

P.P.S.: I’m very much against “debate” on these forums, as I’ve said before, but in this particular case I will make an exception and debate you.

  9. Hard core porn is a form of prostitution. Women are paid for sex. These aren’t actresses doing and acting a theatrical role. All societies have some prostitution. Even Maoist China wasn’t successful in banning all prostitution.

But, prostitution and porn can and should be regulated. States that are our states can and should regulate porn/prostitution the same as states that are our state regulate booze, tobacco and yeah guns in some ways. These aren’t total prohibitions, not GRABBING all guns, just sensible regulations same as Switzerland had.

If I’m governor of Tennessee, or anyone I help elect to WIN (not 2%, actually win) I’ll push through regulation banning all illegal aliens, convicted Black gang members from possessing guns.

    I know, I know:

“That’s RACISTS. Liberal Democrats are the real RACISTS, they want to stop all Blacks from owning whatever guns they want and want to prohibit Blacks from having as many children as they want. The Liberal Democrats are RACISTS. The Libertarian Constitutional race doesn” matter patriots. Aren’t racist”.

    This is mostly true.

    Here’s a good meme:

“Racists resist and will reverse the Great Replacement

    I’m Racist. What’s your excuse?”

  10. It is impossible to ban porn, the degenerate heathens say. Yet I know several people working in China, and they say, porn is impossible to find on the internet there, unless you use illegal programs and have a lot of computer knowledge. Still they will find you. And you will go to jail.

It can be banned and should be. But not under ZUS it isn’t even an issue. But it definitely can be banned.

    • Yeah,
And prostitution is illegal in China. Every hotel has a brothel and there are entire districts of brothels.

I suppose the Chinese are too stupid to use dvds and sd cards.

      • There is an “old saying” in the good ol’ U.S. of A. that goes something like this (I’ve been around awhile, so bear with me): “you can’t legislate morality.” Some among us are at least intelligent enough to reduce it down to a resistant, ‘well, you can, but you shouldn’t.’ But they are still wrong. None of the advocates of this sort of dipshittery believe what they say when you boil it all down (I’m not saying they aren’t passionate about it; I’m saying they don’t really believe it); if they did they wouldn’t do it. Duh! Closer (much closer!) to the truth of the matter is the saying that “you can’t not legislate morality(TM).” If any of you pro-porn jagoffs should like to challenge me on that assertion, I’m all ears!
