I think this could be a blessing in disguise.
If we are being completely honest with ourselves, the fact that some Christians who were already completely compromised by liberalism have moved on from liberal Christianity to pure liberalism isn’t a bad thing. There are plenty of denominations which frankly don’t deserve to survive and appeasing those people holds Christianity back rejecting this poison.

The Bible is full of stories of a righteous God who punishes wickedness, not the relaxed, permissive God imagined by modern liberals.
There has been a lot of cooperation across the social institutions when it comes to trying to destroy Christianity. When so much effort is put into that project by so many, and when the effects have been so detrimental to society and culture, I start to believe that there are darker forces at work behind the scenes.
I don’t consider people merely drifting away from Cucktianity to be a blessing; I prefer heresy trials, excommunications, shunning, and the development of a homogenious racial, religious, and cultural landscape, where NO ONE of the ‘Xenos’ is allowed.
Sort of like the ‘transit visas’ given to ancient furriners as they traversed Biblical Israel. Of course, today, we can have locked train compartments, planes that fly over the Heartland, and all the rest. For what it’s worth there is a small but strong Eastern Orthodox presence in Hollywood. Not everyone in Tinseltown is a coke-snorting jewish pornographer.

Thank you for that information. I had only heard of that Letter of the Pope but I never read it. It is really not radical. It merely states that giving any temporal issue divine attributes is idolatry. That is just basic Christian belief.

I would have to say that Pope Pius XI Letter to the Germans Bishops was still badly done. It gives a rebuke to the government the Church just signed a Concordant with 4 years earlier. As far as I am aware the National Socialists did not give divine attributes to race and nation.

Allow to be the Devil’s Advocate here. Revelations plainly states that if it wasn’t for the second coming of Christ no flesh would survive.I take that to be some kind of life threatening global catastrophe. But for the elect day those days will be shorted and God will intervene so promises Revelations. The elect I take to be believers in Christ. If all that comes to pass and Christianity disappears off the Earth and the second coming never happens (and why would it if Christians go extinct-after all that is what initiates the second coming) then can we assume Christianity was just another false religion?

That means that the “Second Coming” was to be a JUDGMENT on APOSTATE ISRAEL, and NOT a ‘general end of time’ event.
Fourth, the Judgment on Israel did occur, with the DESTRUCTION OF JERUSALEM in AD 70.

So, as Bishop Robinson noted before he died, a ‘redating of the N.T. was in order, twenty or more years ago, to take into account the reality that the Bible itself was finished, BEFORE the Destruction of Jerusalem.
