Donald Trump Joins The Failed, Corrupt Political Establishment

This was Donald Trump’s closing argument in the 2016 presidential election:

“Our movement is about replacing a failed and corrupt political establishment with a new government controlled by you, the American people. The establishment has trillions of dollars at stake in this election. For those who control the levers of power in Washington and for the global special interests, they partner with these people that don’t have your good in mind. The political establishment, that is trying to stop us, is the same group responsible for our disastrous trade deals, massive illegal immigration, and economic and foreign policies that have bled our country dry. The political establishment has brought about the destruction of our factories and our jobs as they flee to Mexico, China, and other countries all around the world. It’s a global power structure that is responsible for the economic decisions that have robbed our working class, stripped our country of its wealth, and put that money into the pockets of a handful of large corporations and political entities. The only thing that can stop this corrupt machine is you. The only force strong enough to save our country is us. The only people brave enough to vote out this corrupt establishment is you, the American people. I’m doing this for the people and for the movement and we will take back this country for you and we will make America great again.

This was Donald Trump at Camp David with Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan:

“We’re going to be very involved, in fact not only with the Senate but also with the House,” Trump said of his plans for primaries in 2018. “Protecting incumbents and whoever I have to protect.”

“I will be actually working for incumbents and anybody else that has my kind of thinking,” Trump said.

When a reporter followed up to ask the president if he might engage in challenges to incumbent GOP senators, Trump turned and looked toward McConnell as he said that he did not envision such a move.

“I don’t see that happening. I don’t see that happening at this moment,” he said. “I think they’ve sort of scattered. We had somebody that lost us the state of Alabama, and I think as far as I’m concerned that was a shame that we lost. That should never have been lost.”

Just kidding!

Everything that Donald Trump said about the failed, corrupt political establishment in his closing argument was true. Unfortunately, he wasn’t serious about getting rid of the establishment. Instead, his real ambition was to join it and lead it and now that he has assumed that coveted position we are told that we must do a DACA amnesty and reelect the failed, corrupt political establishment.

  1. There’s nothing “failed” about the hacks and careerists. Theyre a smash success at their real agenda — accruing wealth, fame and adulation to themselves and stomping us down.

    • True. They may be soulless hacks and careerists who all deserve a violent murder, but you gotta admit – they’re damn good at it.

  2. Wow there were a lot of “P.O.C.s” in that video; I am sure that was intentional. Trump lied, got in power, and joined the establishment he pretended to be against.
Maybe this is a harsh assertion, but perhaps it is tot he point that anyone who has been successful in big business (like Trump is/was) should be considered as much a part of the establishment as those who hold high political office. I think that the state/big banks/corporations/think thanks/non-profits all form the establishment that has a stranglehold on this country and our people.

  3. I don’t think Trump represents any sort of rift in the ruling class. If anything, he represents a consolidation, or direct rule by oligarchs. The Clintons, and every other candidate and president for decades, was just a middleman and traitor to the lower classes from which they all came. Maybe we are returning to direct rule by the actual money people. Roosevelt was old money, and he was the last of his class to hold the office. Since then it’s been one ambitious stooge after another. Trump is probably at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to his class, but he’s still more trustworthy to an oligarch than a greasy Clinton or Rubio. Not sure where the Bushes fit in. I guess they are a good go-between for the oligarchs and the military and intelligence. It’ll be interesting to see who follows Trump.

I don’t think Trump is entering the Establishment, he was always a part of the Establishment. I think he’s just climbed within that group.

      • Eleanor certainly had all the airs of a “spirit cooker”. I think the west as we know it was lost under FDR. The boomers were despicable but the die was already cast.

    • Agreed. Nobody among the iltra-wealthy could become or be that way without becoming or being a part of the anti-white, anti-Christian, anti-Western Establishment. Trump turned out to be what I expected him to be, another Cuckservative.

  4. More of the anti-White same is what “freedom and democracy” get you in the USA. Let’s not ever fall for an establishment candidate again, no matter how sincere he/she seems.

  5. Trump kicked Bannon to the curb, taking sides with his dumb Ivanka and boy Kushner, just goes to show where their priority lies.I’m begining to think rulling elites are cleintele of the far east regimes lop sided trade.

  6. Despite being a smart stable genius who went to Wharton, Trump is daily watering and fertilizing Chinese hegemony on the Asian landmass.

Now, Bannon et al had a hand in this idiocy as well. Bannon pushes and continues to push the China threat, as well as fomenting revolution in Iran. Bannon thought that Don Jr meeting with Russians was “treason”.

Our people seek a world system based on respect and reciprocity, where we channel our musty superfluity into space rather than turf wars on Earth. In other words, nothing like what Trump or Bannon are pushing.

  7. We are all delusional. If his meetings with Henry Kissmyassinger and Richard Haass we’re not the bright spinning neon lights shooting fireworks screaming WARNING but being rationlised all the while, nothing will ever break our internal defect of explaining away — to ourselves — the most obvious of the obvious. We were gamed again. Perhaps it is us and not them.

MAGA was probably a ruse all along. Perhaps they are going after the pedophile network behind the scenes but if Jeff sessions goes down, that will probably end, too!

    Where are you Lord?

    • Bannon is definitely fake.

But Trump can change his ideology VERY EASILY to mainstream conservatism. His cult will support him all the way, although he likely loses in 2020.

BB has a really solid niche right now, as a fake nationalist pressure release valve, they can’t shift too far away from that without risking their market share

So a breakup with BB looks like a prelude to an establishment turn

I almost wonder if it’s not organized, like a version of 4d chess dedicated to exploiting gullible MAGA cucks

  8. Trump has been trashed more than any politician in my lifetime and is doing a reasonable job under the circumstances. Don’t faint in despair every time he waffles on his promises. He’s an egotist and a BS artist for sure, but when the smoke clears you will find yourself a lot better off than if he had lost. Instead of pouting and crying, take advantage of the openings his success provides and do some writing and organizing. Politics is not for couch potatoes.

    • You should change your name. The real Patrick Henry would have never said anything so stupid. “Give me liberty or give me death” not “Give me liberty or give me something slightly better than Hillary.”

    • Patrick Henry,,, You are on Fire… 100% Right On!!
Reply’s are evident that Testosterone has Vanished in many..

  9. @patrick Henry

“but when the smoke clears you will find yourself a lot better off than if he had lost.”

I disagree, we don’t have time. We need a boot put up most of these “good ol red blooded Mericans” butts. Looking back on it I think Bernie might have been the best candidate to force our hands, then Hillary, but definitely not Trump. We just bought ourselves 4 years of laziness from his constituency.
