OOPS: American-Backed Syrian Militia Allowed ISIS To Quietly Evacuate Capital

Didn’t we vote for Donald Trump at least partially because he told us he would annihilate ISIS with minimum United States involvement on the ground?

I mean, I consider my memory to be pretty decent at the end of the day, but I cannot seem to recall a time when the GOD EMPEROR said that he would green-light an exodus of terrorists from Raqqa without even token harassment.

Maybe one of the MAGApedes could enlighten me?

Maybe?

RT:

The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have provided RT’s Ruptly video service with footage confirming reports of a hundreds-strong Islamic State convoy leaving its former stronghold, Raqqa, completely unimpeded.

RT’s Ruptly video news agency has spoken with SDF fighters in Syria, who confirmed for the first time that Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) militants freely left Raqqa in what was previously described by a BBC investigative report as an IS “exodus.” The SDF fighters were on watch when they witnessed and filmed heavy trucks, buses and cars carrying IS militants from the liberated city.

“We saw them with our own eyes. I was on shift at the grain containers turnabout when IS were leaving. There were many of them, we were not afraid of them,” one SDF fighter told Ruptly in late November. He showed the footage featuring the convoy on his mobile phone, saying that he had recorded it and kept it.

“I saw IS, they left with locomotives and buses, they took their luggage and headed towards Rumelan,” another SDF fighter said. “They carried on till Deir [ez-Zor]. I don’t know where they headed to after that, whether to Abu-Kamal or to Mayadeen, they took that road.”

He added there were about 1,000 injured IS fighters and about 2,000 who seemed unhurt.

In November, the BBC reported that a “secret deal” between the US and British-led coalition and the Kurdish forces allowed hundreds of IS terrorists to leave Raqqa peacefully in a long convoy comprised of up to 50 trucks, more than a dozen buses and around 100 other vehicles. Initially neither the coalition nor the Kurdish forces admitted their part in giving free passage to the terrorists. However, Col Ryan Dillon, spokesman for Operation Inherent Resolve, later said the deal was never a secret, confirming Washington accepted the agreement.

Are we supposed to be surprised that yet another of our foreign policy decisions in the Middle East turned out to be a massive boost to a Moslem terrorist group?

Yeah, I didn’t think so, although I’m honestly surprised that RT isn’t reporting on the fact that America never launched a bombing strike on an ISIS convoy that was likely miles in length.

And don’t come to me crying that we had no way of knowing that this was afoot – our Air Force is the most functional, technologically advanced, and least Affirmative Action-riddled part of our military, and could easily have turned the entire escape trail into one giant Highway of Death.

It just helps to confirm that instead of getting an “America First” foreign policy, we’ve been saddled with much the same Israel First platform as we had during the Bush and Obama Administrations.

    • Iraq’s fight may be over (for now), but with Syria, there’s still some fighting with scattered militia groups that may or may not be American/Israeli funded (a Syrian jet was shot down the other day).

The big issue here is the SDF and their future once ISIS is entirely destroyed in the region. We already know that America is aiming for the fall of Assad one way or another, and my prediction is that the next conflict will involve the SDF in some way, shape, or form.

Russia will leave for the most part (hopefully not), Iran and Hezbollah have already promised to respect Syria’s territorial integrity, so that leaves the US and everybody else.

The SDF claim to be secular at the moment, but we all know how that usually turns out…

  1. Half a million Syrians have been killed in the US/Israel backed “civil war”, at least one million Iraqis were killed in the second Gulf War, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians have been killed, mutilated or left homeless in the Zionist Occupied Territories……

And it’s still not enough bloodshed for King Kike.

  2. I read about that convoy weeks ago on a Russian news site. It was 4-5 miles long and included their heavy weapons. Not a hair on their heads was harmed.

Yet our shit press/media speaks of the US defeat of ISIS. Do these bastards ever refrain from lying? A Russian general said that the US “pretends” to fight ISIS. The credit in Syria belongs to the SAA, Russia, Iran and Hezbollah, not the US ffs.

I wonder how Syria can get rid of the US troops and bases still in their country and giving aid, support, training and “safe spaces” to jihadists.
