Mark my words, there will come a time in the not too distant future when we’ll see governments in the declining West resorting to the blame game against Russia for literally every form of internet hoax, scam, and trolling mission – look for Nigerian lottery emails to also be laid at the feet of Vladimir Putin himself.
It may sound absurd to many readers, but you have to understand that a sizable chunk of the ruling classes in most advanced nations have now reached the point where they cannot stop themselves from appearing clinically insane and worthy of mental asylums for their deranged conspiracy theories.
From The Independent:
Hackers have targeted Parliament’s email system in an attempt to access the accounts of hundreds of MPs, Lords, aides and staff.
Security services to shut down access for anyone not in Westminster as part of efforts to secure the network.
“The Houses of Parliament have discovered unauthorised attempts to access parliamentary user accounts,” a parliamentary spokesperson told The Independent.
“We are continuing to investigate this incident and take further measures to secure the computer network, liaising with the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).
“We have systems in place to protect member and staff accounts and are taking the necessary steps to protect our systems.”
MPs were told of the cyber attack on Friday night and said they were unable to access their emails the following morning.
An email sent to everyone using a parliamentary address said “unusual activity and evidence of an attempted cyber attack” had been discovered.
“Closer investigation by our team confirmed that hackers were carrying out a sustained and determined attack on all parliamentary user accounts in attempt to identify weak passwords,” said a message seen by the Huffington Post.
Based off of what we know about the security of accounts related to John Podesta, I wonder what the odds are that Theresa May’s personal password is “kittens,” “cats,” or “meals for one?”
It came days after reports that Russian hackers had put passwords belonging to senior ministers, ambassadors and senior police officers up for sale online.
Britain just does not understand that they are no longer an important power in the grand scheme of geopolitics – surrendering their Empire by triggering the Second World War, and essentially dooming their native population and economy by allowing their non-White former subjects (now everyone) to pour into the small island nation.
Because let’s just be realistic here – Russia could likely cripple the entire infrastructure of Britain if they deemed it expedient, although my guess is that they’re not interested in the little emaciated fish floating around in the world lake screaming of their past importance and long-diminished health.
