Elliott Abrams: Step one is getting rid of Steve Bannon

If you are wondering why disaffected rightwingers believe in Jewish conspiracies and become raging anti-Semites, look no further than this Elliot Abrams interview:

“Step one, says Elliott Abrams: Get rid of Steve Bannon.

“He’s not a good influence on the president,” Abrams, no man to mince words, tells me. Having the White House’s chief political strategist on the National Security Council “was a terrible mistake,” and booting him was a good start to what needs to happen. A giant smile spreads across his face at the thought of Bannon being forced out of the White House completely. …

As for his own future with Trump, Abrams teased that it may still be in front of him, depending on how things shape up with Bannon and Kushner, the latter of whom he kept going out of his way to praise.”

Abrams sees Kushner as his door to the State Department.

These people will never stop trying to subvert and control our foreign policy. They refuse to take no for an answer. It is not going to end well for them.

  3. Israel is too small to do it, but if they can effectively take over a large and powerful country, they can achieve their dreams. For them the US is just a source of money and muscle.

  5. Abrams is the epitome of the international Jew. Jews like Abrams detest White America. They have wormed their way in our government and use our military and tax money to further Jewish interests.

  6. Elliot Abrams was a very strong #neverTrumper who also signed the “Foreign policy experts against Trump” letter back during the campaign. And yet Tillerson wanted him as deputy secretary of state before Bannon complained. Fun facts: Abrams is the son of an immigration lawyer, wrote a book deploring Jewish intermarriage with gentiles, and is a convicted felon (Iran-Contra) pardoned by GHW Bush.

    And yeah…if Bannon goes, this guy is likely to become deputy secretary of state.

  8. Trump’s comments on Bannon and his past treatment of Lewandowski are disturbing. Bannon helped Trump win the White House. Recall that it was Kushner who lead a sinking campaign after he forced Lewandowski out. Lewandowski was the man who let Trump be Trump and thus win the nomination. If Trump chooses his silver spoon doofus son in law over men of real talent, then Trump will soon meet his Waterloo.

  9. Unwittingly, Bannon has betrayed us.

    How, you ask?

    By mismanaging Oval Office politicks and for having underestimated Jared and Ivanka’s desire to oust him.

    He’s such a savvy and experiencet man : how could have not seen this?

    Bannon’s failure, if it is indeed come to that, is going to have telling consequences for not just this country, but, the world.

    It needs to end sooner, rather than later, though, I fear, it will be later -much much so.

  13. Swamp creatures like Abrams have so much blood on their hands its impossible to even imagine a punishment that would fit their crimes. The whole point of voting in Trump seemed to be to move away from the genecidal policies of these freaks, but sadly that does not seem to be.

  17. Denise makes a good point. Without Lewandowski and Bannon steering the populist theme in Trump would have not won.

  18. Don’t forget Manafort; for Trump, loyalty is a one way street, except for his family to which he is truly loyal and why he can only work with / through them.

    Bannon never impressed me; but Trump needs good people and he is one of the few who cone close. Trump would do well to listen to Rand Paul and Co and the broader alt right. We are giving great advice, and all he has to do is listen and do.

  20. On some level, some level, I believe that these people have been permanently warped by their rejection and murder of our Lord. I don’t know how else to explain it. It’s a spiritual matter ultimately.
