Smells Like Merchant: Large Anti-Government Protests Randomly Erupt In Russia And Belarus

If I were a betting man (I do actually like to gamble from time to time), I’d feel extremely comfortable placing a decent amount of cash on the wager that what we’ve seen in the East during the last day has George Soros’ greasy Jewish fingerprints smeared all over.

I make this assertion because Russia has been, and remains, one of the nations that has most often stood up to the crazed Communist parasite/economist, and we’ve already witnessed retaliatory measures unleashed in neighboring Ukraine earlier this decade with the whole Maidan saga.

And if any of you remember that far back, you’ll understand my concern with these currently-innocuous happenings (they’re whining about “government corruption” at the moment), as Ukraine also started out relatively slow before progressing into virtual anarchy and revolution.

From RT:

Around 500 people have been detained in central Moscow during an unsanctioned rally, with opposition figure Aleksey Navalny among them. More rallies, some unsanctioned and others permitted by local authorities, took place all across Russia.

Police detained around 500 people in the city center on Sunday, Moscow police said in a statement. The detentions were made “during an unsanctioned public event,” they said, adding that those detained have been delivered to local police stations for further administrative procedures.

For the Moscow demonstration, around 8,000 people took to the streets, according to police. As the rally continued, police used loudspeakers to call on the protesters to disperse.

Protesters came despite failing to receive permission from the mayor’s office to hold a rally at the site of their choosing. The authorities suggested two alternative locations for the event, but the organizers rejected them.

Navalny was detained shortly after showing up for the event in the center of the Russian capital. He was charged with violating an administrative code regulating public gatherings and is facing a fine, community service, or administrative detention, TASS reports, citing police.

A police officer was injured in central Moscow, Russian news agencies report, citing police. He was hit in the head by one of the rally participants, authorities said, adding that the officer was hospitalized with a brain injury.

A video has emerged online showing a riot police officer lying on the ground, seemingly unconscious.

A man with a gun was among those detained at the rally.

Interesting to note as well that similar demonstrations have erupted in the nation of Belarus as well – all seemingly bankrolled and coordinated in a manner that we here in the States have learned to associate with Leftist terrorist groups like BLM and Antifa.

What will come of this remains to be seen, but perhaps some of our Slavic readers could help to fill in the details of what is transpiring, and get us all on the same page.

    • If only…

My guess is that you would see most of the Antifa disappear in a few short weeks – they’re not like their Euro brethren.

  1. Speaking of Indians, SJWs or SLW’s(self-loathing whites) are like Indian scalp-hunters or New Guinea Head hunters.

They sure went for Murray’s head. And they got Spencer’s head too. They feel they must hunt for certain kinds of heads with ‘evil spirits’.

I think it has something to do with hunting instinct. I don’t think most people have individuality or agency when it comes to thinking about what is right or wrong. Rather, they belong to an ideology or culture controlled by OTHERS. They obey and accept the Narrative and then seek approval from the godhead(like the wizard of oz) by hunting for designated heads.

In this, their mindset isn’t different from that of dogs. Dogs get very excited in their hunts, but they don’t decide what is to be hunted. If the master says, ‘go hunt a pig’, dogs wildly go after pigs. If the masters say, ‘go hunt a fox’, dogs wildly go after fox. If the masters say, ‘go hunt a deer’, dogs are all crazy about hunting deer. Dog mentality seeks approval from the master or alpha leader, and dogs will go out of their way to bring down prey chosen by their masters. Only in the wild do dogs have agency in going after prey. As long as they part of human community, humans decide which animals are to be hunted and killed and which animals are to be spared and tolerated. So, if humans order dogs to hunt pigs, dogs will attack a pig. If humans order dogs to make nice with cats, dogs will make nice with cats. Anything for approval from the master. The frenzy of hunting dogs isn’t much different from the kind of frenzy we saw at Berkeley and Middlebury. They are like Red Guard Dogs. Universities ought to put up signs, ‘Beware of Dog’.

Cats are more independent, but even cats have a instinct that wishes for approval. Cats sometimes catch mice or bird and leave them on doorsteps. Some cat-specialists think that cats are trying to seek approval by offering food to their masters.

There are common patterns among animals, kids, and soldiers. Dogs will go after whatever pleases the master. Kids will ‘hunt’ for whatever is approved or sanctioned by adults. So, if adults say, ‘Go hunt for Easter Eggs’, kids will run around to find as many to show to adults for approval. If adults say, ‘lynch that pinata and spill out its guts’, kids will eagerly swing the bat to win approval. Soldiers are the same way. Soldiers never decide who is enemy or foe. When Hitler told Nazi soldiers, “Soviets are now our friends”, Nazi soldiers were shaking hands with Soviet troops. It’s like a dog will be nice with a cat if ordered by master to ‘be friends’. But if the master tells the dog to attack the cat, the dog will maul the cat to win approval. Likewise, when Hitler said, “Soviets are now our enemies and must be killed”, Nazi attack dogs went into attack-and-maul mode. And even in democracies, this is pretty much the case. US soldiers don’t decide who is enemy or foe. The elites tell soldiers, “those guys are the enemies”, and then, US troops will kill as many of the enemy to win medals and honors.

SJW-mentality is the same. Most of these guys and girls are nobodies. But they want to be somebody and win attention/affection, and that means they must hunt heads and win approval from the godhead. It’s like the Exterminators in ZARDOZ initially hunted down Brutals to serve the godhead.

That the SJW’s have no real agency is evident in their lack of consistency in principles. The Left used to be for free speech, now it’s not. It used to laugh at homos, but now homos are sacrosanct. Feminists used to denounce sex symbols and pornography but now embrace them. It used to not care about Muslims, but now Muslims are all the rage as ‘poor huddled masses’.

Most SJW’s have no minds of their own. They just follow the Narrative and will hunt heads to win approval from the godhead of PC that is controlled by the elites.

It’s like the guy who hunts for a head in UGETSU to win approval from the master class.

And there is head-hunting in Peckinpah’s movie too, though for a more mercenary reason, as in DAY OF THE JACKAL. Mercenaries hunt heads for money. Fanatics do it for approval from those who control the Narrative and terms of Justice.

In Nazi Germany, the villains were Jews, so the people, especially the impressionable young, were let loose on them. And Hitler Youth sure loved to blow the whistle on Jews to win approval. In Communist nations, the villains were ‘capitalist roaders’, ‘kulaks’, ‘bourgeois elements’, ‘reactionaries’, and ‘fascists’, so the over-zealous were on the lookout to nab one of these as trophy to win accolades and approval from Big Brother.

In the US, the godhead says KKK and Nazis are most evil. But who is a KKK or Nazi in today’s America? It’s hard to find such people. So, any white person who resists the full agenda of PC will suffice. So, Murray had to be head-hunted as a ‘nazi’.

Fanatics are more dangerous than mercenaries. Without money, mercenaries will not act. But fanatics, like dogs, will act out in violence and fury just for emotional approval. It’s like dogs will risk their lives and kill anything just to win approval.

On the other hand, the fanatics are easily reprogrammed with changing of the guards. Since they lack agency and critical mindset, they rely on the godhead to tell them what is right and wrong. So, if new bunch of people take over the godhead and changes the agenda, the fanatics will just go along. It’s like former Nazis adapted very easily to working for the Stasi. And former Japanese militarists were the most loyal dogs to Uncle Sam.

  2. They sure are desperate to prevent any kind of rapprochement between the US and Russia, at least any that they can’t control.

  3. Ok, here are my two cents, straight from Moscow. Navalny rides on a wave of civil discontent, not unlike Trump. Right now we are suffering a serious economic downturn, which, as some might guess, has not affected our elites, so their is a demand for fairness.
Why now? To answer this question we must look at initial “political formula”( in Burnham’s parlance) of Putin’s regime: economic growth in exchange of non-involvement in politics( Putins didn’t really do anything, it was mostly oil prices). After Ukraine and rising economic problems Kremlin tried to change political formula into something like ” we are a great power surrounded by enemies”, which is all well and good but it’s hard to take seriously when rich get richer( especially bureaucrats) and poor get poorer. In this situation previous fears of getting fired or jailed or whatever.
Kremlin’s response to it is ridiculous and authoritarian, which is it’s usual response with only one problem: they have a stick, but they don’t have a carrot of high oil prices anymore, so people are not able to avert their eyes. What they should have allowed a certain space of freedom to its citizens in order for them to release some steam. Instead they try to tighten the screws on any opposition. It will not end well and only justifies imho that these people are themselves trying to bring their own collapse( not unlike imperial elite in the beginning of XX century, Max Weber wrote well about it).

    • That’s saddening news, Cyrill. OK, I assumed that economic sanctions must have weakened Russia, but I had no idea that Mr Putin is such a disaster. As he is always demonised in all MSM, I din’t buy the stories about his indifference to ordinary people’s suffering. Having said that, I still I suspect that foreign infiltrators are involved.

      • Well, sanctions are only part of the problem. In many ways they serve as a good smokescreen to hide how much of the damage is self-inflicted.
Putin is,indeed, a disaster, I am telling you this as a person who has no love for his opponents. I also think that Putin genuinely enjoys his demonization in MSM, they make him look much more cunning and smart than he really is.
But do not believe anyone, Putin and his cronies are part of a global machine just as anyone else: look where their children live, look where they buy property. “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also”.
Putin just, as we say in Russia, ?????????? (act a fool) for no rational reason at all( the only plausible explanation is probably in his own personal psychological profile).
I am not trying to defend the West, you people do stupid shit as well, but trust me, in this conflict between your overlords and ours there are no good guys.

        • Thanks Cyrill. As I have Polish background, I would like to hear your opinion on Poland’s aggressive attitude towards Russia. Is it founded on facts or just the globalist agenda? I often visit Polish alternative Internet-sites, but I seldom find anything that isn’t biased against Russia – and Germany.

        • I disgree about Putin. “Disaster” is when Jewish oligarchs run the country as their personal fiefdom. This is what happened in Ukraine. This was also Russia in the 1990s before Putin took over. Incidentally, Jewish oligarhy is an apt description for modern American system.

Putin has done a lot of good things: removing oligarhs from power, destroying liberal media, rebuilding the military. He certainly earned his place in Russian history by returning Crimea. For me, that’s vastly more important than where someone’s children live. (btw that’s a common liberal talking point)

          • Oh and pray tell me what have your ??????? ????? ever done for Russian working class except for making us a western cryptocolony, which supplies the West natural resources in exchange for real goods, presiding over unrestricted immigration from former Asian Republics and allowing Ramzan Kadyov doing whatever he pleases? Well, he put a real Russian nationalist, Daniel Konstantinov in prison, so I guess this makes him our katechon.
Instead of providence and argument you use ad hominem argument presenting me as a “public enemy”. And yes I actually did vote for Navalny when he was running for Mayor of Moscow, but not because I am a liberal or hipster, but because anything that shakes things up from their slumber a net positive for me. I assume that is the same reason many people, including those on the Alt-Right, voted for Trump, to put an end to politics as usual which only benefits the few. I would rather have real politics in my country rather than political theater cum ineffective managerial regime, even if it means supporting people with I have lots of disagreements.

          • Well, it was a mistake to support Navalny back then. You should certainly stop supporting him now: the man no longer describes himself as a nationalist, he dumped his anti-immigration platform. Instead he writes Op-Eds for NYT, supports the Maidan, thinks the status of Crimea is negotiable, and his association with Jewish oppositionists is highly problematic.

          • And when have Putin ever been a nationalist? I would rather have Navalny than a peddler of a false greatness, who scapegoats everyone for his mistakes and starts unnecessary wars which of no benefit to his country, to justify his corrupt regime. What good has his Ukrainian adventure ever done except of meaningless death of good men from both. I guess this makes me not only an SJW but also a supporter of Azov battalion, because I doubt the wisdom that KGB bastard.

    • Another Russian here and I disagree with everything Cyrill said. He sounds like one of those liberal Navalny supporters. Please, ignore his garbage.

I want to stress that this wave of “civil discontent” Navalny “rides” is limited entirely to urban hipster circles. Basically, a small minority of Russians aspire to live in a Westernised liberal society. They support Navalny. In other words it’s an entirely different demographic compared to Trump supporters.

The fawning coverage in Western media should give you a clue.

  4. I am not surprised. Poland and Russian have been vying for supremacy in Eastern Europe for a very long time, so both sides harbor negative feelings towards each other( kinda like Southerners and Yankees). I do think that Polish side acts wee bit delusional, because I sincerely doubt anyone in Kremlin has a plan to conquer it, but I am not surprised or particularly offended by it. It’s a given and I don’t know how change that.

    • In Poland Jews from USA and Izrael have a big influence. Prezident is a husband of Jew, Kaczynski is a son of Jew, Tusk is a german Jew born in Poland.etc etc. The goverment is a friend of Izrael.

      • Putin is not an enemy either. He and Netanyahu have a good rapport, for good or for ill.

  5. Russian here. Please avoid the trap of strereotyping Russia and Russians. We have a large and diverse country. We have our conservatives, nationalists, liberals, feminists and SJWs.( and based on his profile pic, Cyrill Krasilnikov could be one of them)

Western media, desperate to see Putin overthrown, interprets any kind of protest activity as a sign of impeding “color revolution”. Conversely, this website will see Soros hand in everything. But let’s not overthink this, we’re talking about a 8000 strong protest in 12 million city – trivial and inconsequential.

  6. Oh and pray tell me what have your ??????? ????? ever done for Russian working class except for making us a western cryptocolony, which supplies the West natural resources in exchange for real goods, presiding over unrestricted immigration from former Asian Republics and allowing Ramzan Kadyov doing whatever he pleases? Well, he put a real Russian nationalist, Daniel Konstantinov in prison, so I guess this makes him our katechon.

  7. Undoubtedly this has Soros all over it and there is little doubt the deep state is involved. If they can get enough of these fake anti corruption demos happening then it also feeds in to Muh Russian conspiracy in the west. Putin knows what is at stake and he may very well have to use the same option he did with Chechen Muslims. Go after the ring leaders and their families.
