Not really. A strong monarch will have all the power it needs to crush its enemies. The problem with the Trump family is its Jewish connection. We need a bloodline that is not mixed with Jews. So only Barron could possibly be the heir.
I’m sure the left has no problem seeing him as David Lynch’s version of the Barron Harkonnen. Although the left was aghast at 1984’s Dune at the time as Lynch’s “homophobia” added a touch not in the novel, he gave the queer Barron Harkonnen “space aids” with nasty bulging purple spots.
In the book, it was low key. And the surgical fetish wasn’t there.
I was thinking of Trump as one of the other houses, as mentioned in the prequel books and in the PC games like Dune 2000. Back when the film came out, there was a renewed enthusiasm for the books. The school library had hardback editions of Herbert’s books and they stayed checked out for weeks. I read Fangoria magazine and enjoyed the Dune articles and issues.
