President Trump Signs Two Immigration Executive Orders

President Trump wasn’t kidding about The Wall and cracking down on sanctuary cities:

“Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump on Wednesday started to reshape US immigration enforcement policies via executive action, taking his first steps toward fulfilling some of the most contentious pledges that defined his campaign — building a border wall and speeding the deportation of undocumented immigrants.

Trump signed two executive orders directing the construction of a wall on the US-Mexico border, boosting border patrol forces and increasing the number of immigration enforcement officers who carry out deportations. The orders also call for stripping sanctuary cities of federal grant funding and announced sweeping new criteria that could make many more undocumented immigrants priorities for deportation. …”

Here’s a taste of the tears at Slate:

“For 11 million undocumented immigrants living and working in this country and anyone who cares about them, it feels like a terrifying day.”

No, it was a glorious day for those who have been waiting for decades to see this happen. Luis Gutierrez looked like he was about to cry tonight on All In With Chris Hayes. Also, #NoBanNoWall is trending on Twitter as I write this, so the Left is already having its predictable tantrum.

Note: I understand that more is coming soon on the Muslim ban. I’m satisfied for now (we’ve got years to get everything we want), but I hope President Trump doesn’t flinch on addressing the DACA question. Gutierrez & Co. will oppose his agenda no matter what he does.

  1. Trump will not flinch on DACA, but he won’t create an unnecessary shitstorm either.

The DACA youth are the least problematic illegals. I’d rather see all the “legal” rapefugees returned to camps in their homelands or nearby before deporting one of them, then the criminal illegals, then go after the employers.
There are 10-20 million illegals, but I think 50k DACAs. This is a bomb to be defused, not blown up.
I seem to remember a bunch of “Trump betrayed us already” posts starting last November. He knows more than you, he’s playing 4D chess. He’s already done more in a few days than both Bushes combined and it has been less than a week.
You’ve been watching a Lion tear into its prey and keep the hyenas at bay and wondering if/when the lion might turn into a pussy-hat. Won’t happen. That doesn’t mean the Lion is going direct instead of strategically.

    • There are an estimated 2 million of the little DACA bastards who are eligible for amnesty, 3/4 of a million plus have already signed up. Do you want to pay for them? Do your parents want to pay for them? Get real—they must go back.

Our children’s dreams, must come first!

    • Go after aliens that are a public charge first. Find the ones who saddled hospitals with unpaid medical bills, grab them, and put them on a C140 back home. Go over the welfare rolls and get the ones stealing our tax dollars with food stamps, WIC, and all this nonsense and toss them into that C140 without an “inflight movie or meal service.” Make repaying back all the money they were ineligible to receive (i.e. free education in grammar school) as a condition on their applying to come back, they never will. Also grab all the illegals who voted too.

  2. Off topic but the photograph below is of a house that served as the headquarters of Stonewall Jackson for some months, starting in November 1861. It’s in Winchester, Virginia, and was owned, at the time, by a Confederate infantry commander, one Lewis Tilghman Moore. It seems quite a bit of the funding for the turning of the house into a museum was provided by Moore’s great-granddaughter, who died yesterday. That would be the actress Mary Tyler Moore …

  3. I think that half a dozen metropolitan cities should be seceded from their states and placed under Trumpenreich mandate for Special Treatment.

  4. Trump has done more for Whites, albeit indirectly, in less than a week than the Bush family did in 12 years. May it continue and only grow stronger.

  5. Also in the executive order–orders to list and publish crimes committed by illegal aliens, and also document non-compliant jurisdictions, on a very regular basis. It’s effectively (and I think purposely) an order for the FedGov to collect facts to feed the immigration restriction narrative.

Ann Coulter probably had to change her undies after reading that order.

  6. Ann Coulter has proven the most important American author since Harriet Beecher Stowe.

Ann Coulter wrote a book, Adios America!, and personally begged some Republican politicians to read it. One did: Donald Trump. He asked for an early copy, read it, and ran for President on it. He won. He is following through. He is doing what can be done within the mental limits of civic nationalism to forestall a second Civil War.

  7. Notice how even now, they do not explicitly ban Muslims, they use other verbiage and policies.

Recall many cheering Trump throwing away the entire Presidency over “ban kebab”: if you don’t win, you don’t ban squat.

That the President of the United States would order on Holocaust Memorial Day the banning of a people due to their religion is reprehensible
