Civil Rights Groups Condemn Stephen Bannon

LOL … so what?

“Civil rights groups, Democrats and some Republicans on Monday denounced President-elect Trump’s decision to appoint Stephen K. Bannon to a top White House position, warning that he represents nationalist and racist views that should be rejected by the incoming president.

Congressional Republicans remained largely silent about the decision, choosing to instead praise Mr. Trump’s announcement that Reince Priebus, the chairman of the Republican National Committee, will become the new White House chief of staff.

But on Twitter and in statements emailed to reporters, a chorus of critics lamented what they said was a frightening normalization of the fringe views that Mr. Bannon promoted as the chairman of Breitbart News.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations said Mr. Bannon’s selection “sends the disturbing message that anti-Muslim conspiracy theories and white nationalist ideology will be welcome in the White House.”

That view was echoed by the Southern Poverty Law Center, a group that tracks hate groups, which insisted that “Trump should rescind this hire. In his victory speech, Trump said he intended to be president for ‘all Americans.’ Bannon should go.” …

That’s a sad story. You lost. Get over it.

Note: Who cares that civil rights groups are outraged? That’s the best part of this. Mark Potok and Richard Cohen are making the rounds on the #LyingPress crying about Stephen Bannon. For all their talk about “white privilege,” it is their own privilege that is coming to an end.

  7. The (((SPLC))) and (((ADL))) are abusing their nonprofit status by sticking their big crooked beaks into who President Trump is appointing to his WH staff. They are supposed to be politically neutral, hence their tax free status.

  9. as a special investigator of jewish hate groups in the new trump administration, a friend of mine is going to recommend a thorough investigation of the most hate-filled hate group in america, the SPLC. when the DoJ folks move in to check the records i am suggesting to my friend that they do deep, full cavity searches on the premises since it is common knowledge that in a pinch these jewish hairballs hide everything up their hidey-holes, including donor lists.

  13. I blieve that Islam is an evil cult! All Muslims are freaks, rapists, womanizers, murderers, terrorists, and thieves. Muslim men are closeted gays for the fact that they do not allow their women the liberty to socialize with other men; as such, Muslim men can have sex freely with each other.     But a White Nationalist (even if Bannon were) is horrible, evil, racist!

    Is this not a double standard? Or are the media and the Dems just anti-White?
