Larry Kudlow Really Likes Trump’s Tax Plan

By Hunter Wallace

Larry Kudlow is cheerleading for Donald Trump’s tax plan:

“Renowned economist Larry Kudlow Tuesday endorsed Donald Trump’s tax plan, telling Newsmax TV that it is “a pro-growth, supply-side” program that would grow the nation’s long-slagging economy.

“I really like Trump’s plan,” the CNBC senior contributor told “The Steve Malzberg Show” in an interview. “One of the things I just love about it is the 15 percent corporate tax rate …

Kudlow, who hosts his own syndicated radio show, has long championed a 15 percent corporate tax rate, but “I never thought I’d see a candidate do it.

“It’ll give us a gigantic advantage. Bring capital and businesses to the U.S., make us the most hospitable place to invest — and that’s what Donald Trump has done.”

Wait a minute … Grover Norquist and Larry Kudlow are cheerleading for Trump’s tax plan. Stop right there. What about the hedge fund guys who are getting away with murder?

“It turns out that Trump was either bluffing or being cynical. It’s true that, in abolishing the carried-interest deduction for hedge-fund managers, he would force them to pay a tax rate of twenty-five per cent instead of twenty per cent on some of their income. But, by reducing the top rate on ordinary income from 39.6 per cent to twenty-five per cent, he would give the hedgies and other members of the one per cent a huge break on the taxes they pay on income not covered by the deduction. In addition, he would introduce a new tax break—a rate of just fifteen per cent on “pass-through” income generated by small businesses—that hedge funds and other partnerships might well be able to exploit to their advantage. In the words tweeted out by Len Burman, the respected director of the centrist Tax Policy Center, “#Trump tax plan is huge tax cut on the rich. How huge is hard to say because details are scarce.”

You can’t play the populist billionaire while promising to give yourself a Herbert Hoover size tax cut. It will inevitably raise the question: is this what your campaign has been about all along? How can Trump attack ¡Jeb! for being controlled by his donors when Trump’s tax cut is even more #yuge – more luxurious – for the Republican donor class?

  1. President Trump’s tax plan also cuts out most of the HUGE tax deductions the ultra rich get as well. That way we all pay our fair share.

  2. The top tax bracket in the USA is overwhelmingly comprised of White people.

We’re not talking about mysterious “Jewish oligarchs” here or the ever-dreaded “elitists”, we’re talking about people who make $300,000/yr or more. That’s a very good living, don’t get me wrong, but it’s realistically attainable to any educated, ambitious, hard-working person. I certainly hope to be making at least that much by the time I retire.

What percentage of those making $300,000/yr or more do you believe are non-Jewish White? 90 percent? More? In 21st-century America, the belief that the wealthy should be taxed more than they already are is an anti-White position, plain and simple. Take from the White people who have built this country, give it to a government that grows more anti-White and anti-Christan with each passing year. No thanks.

  3. If the top tax bracket is overwhelmingly composed of White people, would that be a point in their favor? Given our present rapid demographic descent, why should we have any loyalty to a class of people who seemingly have no racial loyalty and have made their peace with our present multiracial society?

  4. Is there a White version of Sheldon Adelson?

Jewish billionaires and millionaires seem to fund a constellation of pro-Jewish organizations to the tune of at least several billion a year. How is it that Jewish wealth translates into political dominance when there are so many more White billionaires and millionaires?

  5. I hate the term “strawman” because I think it’s corny and over-used, but that’s exactly what you’re doing here, Hunter.

The percentage of billionaires who are Jewish is irrelevant here. We’re talking about the Trump tax plan, which counts those making $300,000/yr or more as the top tax bracket. If you’re a middle-aged man with kids in college, a mortgage payment, etc., then a salary of $300,000 is upper-middle class, nothing more.

You want to make this all about “Jewish oligarchs”, when it’s really about successful White people.

I don’t particularly like the idea of taking money from successful White people and giving it to a government that I view as increasingly hostile to Christian Whites. “Progressives” like Bernie Sanders love the idea, and that’s why he markets his schtick to young impressionable types who haven’t yet prospered financially (and minorities, of course)

  6. How so?

Jews are at the apex of the income pyramid in the United States. It only gets more Jewish the higher up you go with billionaires being the most Jewish of all income brackets. Thus, it is fair to say that Trump’s tax plan will disproportionately benefit Jews:

    http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1976468/posts

“Jews are the highest-earning religious group in the United States, with 46 percent of the working population earning a six-digit figure every year, according to a study released this week.

In terms of annual earnings, the only other group to even come close to the average Jewish income was the Hindus, with 43 percent earning over $100,000.”

  7. What do you mean by successful White people?

Isn’t that another way of saying White people who have made their peace with the multiracial status quo, who are insulated from it by their wealth, and who are either indifferent to the fate of the White majority at best or outright hostile to it at worst like Bill Gates?

Where is the pro-White version of Sheldon Adelson? You say there are so many more White millionaires and billionaires than Jewish oligarchs. What does that say about them though? Why should anyone want to protect their vast fortunes from the grasping hands of the multiracial underclass when they have no interest in protecting the less fortunate?

  8. Of course I don’t consider Jews to be White.

What I’m saying is an indisputable fact– that the vast majority of people in Trump’s top tax bracket ($300,00/yr or more) are successful White people, not Jewish oligarchs. Millions of Americans make that much money. All those houses in the country club subdivisions didn’t build themselves, and they aren’t filled with dindus or latinos.

And Hunter, are you really suggesting that if you do well financially it means you’ve “made peace with the multiracial status quo?” To an extent we all have I guess, unless you’ve moved to Montana and holed up in a compound, but you can’t really be suggesting that financial success makes you a racial traitor, can you?

Newsflash: smart people make money. Period. If you go through your whole life and you’re not able to figure out how to create a relatively comfortable life for you and your family, you’ve either chosen that path (“noble” jobs that don’t pay very well– like teaching) or you’re probably not very smart. Sam Dickson has made millions while aggressively advancing a pro-White agenda. The two things are not mutually exclusive.

Leave the class warfare for the other side. We Whites still have the upper hand in this country when it comes to material wealth and ownership, and it needs to stay that way. Policies which funnel money away from White people and towards the U.S. government aren’t policies racially-concious White people should support, in my humble opinion. If the demographic makeup of this country were different– if it was like it was in, say, 1950, then we’d be having a different conversation. But in today’s USA, redistribution of wealth is inherently anti-White.

Let’s say half the Jews in America make $300,000 or more– a figure we all know to be ridiculous. Considering Jews comprise just 2-4% of the American population (depending on who you believe), we’re still looking at a top tax bracket that is, what, 80-85% White? I don’t know, what’s your guess, what percentage of those making $300,000 or more are White?

The vast majority, am I right? I mean, this is an indisputable fact, no? I don’t feel like digging for links for income statistics, but on this point I don’t really feel it’s necessary, it’s just an obvious fact.

Anyway, you’ve dug in pretty good on this subject over the last couple of days so I know I’m not changing your mind. I will continue to enjoy the blog.

  9. 1.) That’s not in dispute.

As you have said, most wealthy people are not Jewish. At the same time, Jews are considerably more wealthy than Whites on average, which means Trump’s tax plan will disproportionately benefit Jews. Among the wealthiest millionaires and billionaires, the Jewish advantage will be greater still.

2.) The Whites who have sealed themselves off in wealthy subdivisions and gated neighborhoods are individualists who have only used their wealth to insulate themselves from the present multiracial society. Those who aspire to do the same thing are individualists who want to be on the same lifeboat as their counterparts in Mexico and Brazil.

3.) I’m saying that I agree with you that most wealthy people are White, but I am just pointing out they obviously haven’t used their wealth like their Jewish counterparts. Where’s the pro-White Bruce Wayne or Sheldon Adelson? Is there not one White billionaire who is as devoted to his race as Adelson?

4.) Maybe wealthy White people are using their wealth, not to advance the cause of their own race like the Jews, but to corrupt the system and shape public policy in such a way that it works out to their own personal financial advantage? If that is the case, why shouldn’t middle and working class Whites do the same?

5.) I know Sam, but he is the exception that proves the rule. Even though there are far more White billionaires and millionaires, Jews are politically and culturally dominant because their wealth just isn’t spent on racial philanthropy. They are not a cohesive group.

6.) Wealthy Whites do have their upper hand, but most of them have used it to either insulate themselves from the multiracial society or to make their peace with it.

7.) In my opinion, if the White middle class and White working class is going to be downwardly mobile, then so should the White upper class. Maybe if they lose enough money to their precious non-White underclass this will stimulate residual racial consciousness?

8.) That sounds like a self serving argument. I don’t see any reciprocity here. Rather, it sounds to me like wealthy Whites want lower tax rates out of self interest, but are hostile or indifferent to the fate of all those “Vulgarians” they clearly look down on.

9.) Once again, I don’t see wealthy Whites showing any concern for anyone less fortunate than themselves unless they are looking for status points by showering their wealth on non-Whites.

10.) Every Republican candidate including Trump is offering some variation of the big tax cut for the wealthy and promises on all sorts of other issues. If history is our guide, what aspect of their agenda do you believe they are most likely to act on?

  10. “In my opinion, if the White middle class and White working class is going to be downwardly mobile, then so should the White upper class.”

Well–then those are the choices, right, Mr. W? Either help the Jews by taxing the rich and thus destroying wealthy whites (while the Jews will easily be keeping their heads above water), or help the Jews by not taxing the rich. Either way, you lose.

That’s why there are those of us who don’t take any of this seriously. The important questions are carefully cordoned off from electoral politics, which are about as important as “American Idol.”

  11. PS Having read your statement in full, Mr. W., I see that your hope is that the harming of rich whites might “stimulate [in them] residual racial consciousness.” As usual, you’re going for a bank shot, to use my metaphor from the game of pool. That never works. Say what you want: a white polity. That’s unconstitutional. That’s what you want: something the U.S. Constitution doesn’t allow. If you take America’s electoral politics seriously, you’re pretending otherwise. That will not work.

  12. “10.) Every Republican candidate including Trump is offering some variation of the big tax cut for the wealthy and promises on all sorts of other issues. If history is our guide, what aspect of their agenda do you believe they are most likely to act on?” – I don’t think people are going back to sleep on any of these issues, because the pain is there, and not going away.

” I see that your hope is that the harming of rich whites might “stimulate [in them] residual racial consciousness.”” – Not us harming them, but us no longer going out on a limb to protect them from this group that was brought here to harm us.

  13. “Not us harming them, but us no longer going out on a limb to protect them from this group that was brought here to harm us.”

Whatever. Indirect political action does not work.

  14. 1.) Correct me if I am wrong, but if the average Jew is significantly more wealthy than the average White, wouldn’t higher taxes disproportionately harm Jews, especially at the highest levels?

2.) Since the wealthy Jews are pouring so much of their money into pro-Jewish causes, wouldn’t higher taxes also harm them? What effect would it have on wealthy Whites? Certainly nowhere near as much because pro-White philanthropy isn’t anywhere close to pro-Jewish philanthropy.

  15. Just look at this discussion: we’re talking about the top income tax bracket, and it has already stimulated White racial consciousness! It would be anti-White for wealthy Whites not to pay low taxes!

  16. I’m not going to encourage my readers to fall for the same old Republican bait-and-switch: give us this “terrific” tax cut for the wealthy, and we promise we will ban abortion, gay marriage, stop illegal immigration, etc.

  17. “Correct me if I am wrong, but if the average Jew is significantly more wealthy than the average White, wouldn’t higher taxes disproportionately harm Jews, especially at the highest levels?”

If you mean, by arithmetic, is a given percentage of a large amount greater than the same percentage of a smaller amount, then yes. If you think Jews will not retain a position stronger than that of rich whites, then no.

“Since the wealthy Jews are pouring so much of their money into pro-Jewish causes, wouldn’t higher taxes also harm them? What effect would it have on wealthy Whites? Certainly nowhere near as much because pro-White philanthropy isn’t anywhere close to pro-Jewish philanthropy.”

I’m sorry, Mr. W., but I just tune out when you start doing all of this calculating, all of this bank-shooting, as I’m calling it. Say what you want: You want rich whites to be racists. That’s the goal.

  18. “I’m not going to encourage my readers to fall for the same old Republican bait-and-switch: give us this “terrific” tax cut for the wealthy, and we promise we will ban abortion, gay marriage, stop illegal immigration, etc.”

I’m not asking you to do that. I’m asking you not to take any of this seriously. My goals–and, I think, yours–have nothing to do with America’s electoral politics. What was all the excitement, two months or so ago, here at Occidental Dissent and other racist websites? Donald Trump, in talking about illegal immigration, had sort-of-halfway-almost-not-quite said something about race. The distance between our interests and what is normally discussed in American electoral politics is so great that that seemed like a near-encounter with what we want to hear. To put it astronomically, it was as if an asteroid had passed within half a million miles of Earth (or whatever would be a closer-than-usual-but-not-really-close passage of an asteroid). What are you? Negroes? Looking for scraps? This is reality. This is the future of your outstanding breed, of which I am, at best, a marginal member. Avoid anything that does not conduce to your triumph. Bank shots do not conduce to your triumph.

  19. Basically, my view is that Republicans have a long history of promising all kinds of things, but when they get into power they almost always use it to advance a pro-business agenda that favors wealthy donors.

Thus, I suppose you can say I am skeptical when the “establishment” candidate, who is controlled by the donor class, wants to cut the top income tax rate from 39.6 percent to 28 percent, and the outsider “populist” candidate – who is one of the richest men in America – only wants to cut it down to 25 percent.

Combine that with Trump’s sudden conversion to immigration restrictionism. In 2012, he was calling Mitt Romney heartless and meanspirited for advocating self deportation. He also accused Pat Buchanan of being a virtual Neo-Nazi back in 2000.

Combine that with a Republican Congress which is almost certain to pass the #yuge tax cut while rejecting the immigration plan in solidarity with Democrats.

  20. Let’s remember wealth and income are two different things, and wealth is very hard to gauge. A good example would be Donald Trump’s wealth. Trump claims he is worth 10 Billion, Forbes says he is worth closer to 4 Billion. It all depends on the actual value of his assets.

Then you can be sure that Trump has assets that only he knows about. Art works, collections of things, gems, jewelry even things buried in his backyard or in vaults.

  21. I would say that what you just posted there, at 10:34 pm, 30 September, is probably correct in its every detail, Mr. W., since you seem, to me, to follow these things. To it, I would add simply what I’ve been saying: “Thus–none of this, nothing of American electoral politics, is to be taken seriously.” Play on the enemy’s game board, lose.

  22. Hunter, super wealthy White men, with good intentions, have been taken advantage of by conservative Republican hustlers. This is nothing new. A good example would be Richard Mellon Scaife who had his pockets picked for decades by “conservative” hustlers.

  23. But Trump hasn’t backed off on his immigration rhetoric at all. He invokes the name of Jeff Sessions in every other speech.

I totally agree with you on the GOP establishment, but I guess where we differ is I still view Trump as an outsider who is basically independent of the GOP establishment (he’s still mercilessly attacked by the “conservative establishment” on a near-daily basis), while you seem to think– based on his tax plan– that he’ll essentially become the consummate cuckservative who will compromise with the left on all social issues while making sure that the rich get richer.

Maybe you’re right. Maybe I’m being a little naive here. But I’ll tell you what: the immigration issue is what Trump has built his entire campaign on, and he knows it. I’d bet my bottom dollar that he’d take action on construction of a wall in his first term– there may be concessions, yes, but he knows that he’d have no chance at getting reelected (the #1 goal of 1st-term Presidents) if he didn’t take action immigration.

An unapologetic White man who explicitly promises to slow the browning of the country is good enough for my vote, barring unforeseen events (I’d jump ship in a second if he embraced the black lives matter movement, for instance, like Rubio did yesterday).

  24. The problem boils down to the complete se-racination of Whites. Affluent, so-called “educated” Whites despise lower-class, blue-collar, “lower-order” Whites. This division has been at work for centuries. It’s been our very worst Tragic Flaw. I believe it correlates with the (now) self-immolating Hyper Uber Mega Individualism traits of the White Race.

Other Races know to stick up for each other, against outsiders, no matter how odious or horrid various individuals are, when they are working for their own group interests. The Best/Worst example are Negroes. They don’t care how God Awful, stupid, criminal or depraved onwof their Own Kind is, when Mau Mauing for Gibs Me Dat. And it’s working for them! Thanks to demented Race Traitor Whites.

Whites in general place too much emphasis on intelligence and individual ability, hard work, and various other merits. I agree with Hunter; Upper class Whites NEED to lose their Bennies, and will, as the West Grows Dark, in order to comprehend and appreciate that they do belong to a distinct Race – and their allegiance is owed to their Own Kind – not The Other. Or their Bank Accounts.

  25. Yikes! I have been soooooooooooooobusy this Summer I can’t keep up! Rubio went Negro-Lover? HAHAHA!!!Whatta Cuck!

Which Jew does he belong to? He’s that Jew’s Pool Boy! Hahaha! Stick a fork in him; that maricone is done!

  26. 1.) Mitt Romney sounded good on immigration until the general election. The jury is still out on that one. Oh, and after the election we found out Romney and Ryan had been lying all along.

2.) If ¡Jeb! is just a puppet of his donors, shouldn’t Trump’s plan reflect his ostensible independence? Instead, Trump’s tax plan is even better for the Republican donor class or the establishment.

3.) What’s the difference between Trump, Jeb, and Romney on taxes? The difference is that Trump wants the 25 percent top rate whereas Romney and Jeb had a 28 percent top rate in their plans.

4.) Just this afternoon, the GOP House screwed the pro-life crowd on defunding Planned Parenthood, and passed a token resolution to mollify them:

    http://mobile.nytimes.com/2015/10/01/us/politics/government-shutdown-congress.html_r=1&referer=http://freerepublic.com/tag/*/index?tab=articles

5.) Isn’t it reasonable to assume that in the best case scenario that Trump would send the tax plan and the immigration plan to the GOP Congress? And that the tax plan would likely pass while the immigration plan would be blocked?

6.) Every Republican candidate is running some variation of a big fat tax cut for the wealthy tethered to a promise to “secure the border.”

  27. Found a couple of amusing Tweets:

Guys I got an idea – Let’s put all our faith in politicians like Trump instead of organizing as a people! Bulletproof plan.

If you think Trump is the great white savior, look at who his daughter is married to and reproducing with.

  28. Pretty much.

Even if the vast majority of WNs like Light Division continue to support him, the damage is already done. It will unquestionably be used against him by the Democrat in the general election. WTF was he thinking running on giving himself a Hoover size tax cut?

  29. Oh don’t be so hard on Trump, he’s just a reality show star after all. He did do something that the enemy is pissing their pants over. He picked up immigration and made it an issue. They won’t get it out of the minds of Americans now. There will not be an election anyway. The System is about to collapse. The debt clock has been stopped for over six months. I think that nigger has been spending a whole lot of the jew money on himself and his gay fake wife. Oh, too bad. When you go black, you go broke, Hymie.
