Superheroes in classical culture predate the first exposure to Jews by about 1,000 years.

That’s certainly an interesting position Linda. Prometheus wasn’t a hybrid, rather a titan. Lot’s of heroes only had small godly admixture such as Achilles and Ajax. There are a lot of themes, some quasi-religious in Superman that reflect the jewish experience in 20th century BRA. X-men is in my understanding a particularly damaging mythos based on the so-called xenophobic sins of mankind.
I think superheroes are good fun for kids with a religious foundation. An atheist society invites all manner of disorder, including diversion of spiritual energy towards what should be mere entertainment for kids.
I’m not a comic buff and it’s not a slick proto-blockbuster but I enjoy Billy The Heretic web comics. It’s about a young white Christian boy that stands up to his adoptive Jewish parents and that makes him a superhero in my book.
