Florida vs. Eric “My People” Holder

Florida

Gov. Rick Scott grows a pair and sues the Obama administration:

“TALLAHASSEE – Gov. Rick Scott announced Monday that the state is suing the Obama administration over its refusal to share a Homeland Security database that Scott says Florida needs to adequately clear its voting rolls of any non-citizens who wrongly registered to vote.

“We want to have fair, honest elections in our state, and so we’ve been put in the position that we have to sue to get it,” he told Fox News in an interview just prior to the Department of State announcing it had filed the suit.

But in a letter that seemed certain to intensify the battle between the Scott administration and Washington, the U.S. Department of Justice demanded that Florida halt efforts to purge its voters rolls – telling the state to “immediately cease this unlawful conduct” – and said it was suing the state.

“It appears that the State of Florida is unwilling to conform its behavior to the requirements of federal law,” wrote Assistant Attorney General Thomas Perez, adding that he had authorized “the initiation of an enforcement action against Florida in federal court.”

Excellent.

This is exactly how we will bring about our own liberation: through stirring up polarizing conflicts between the Deep South states and Washington, thereby forcing ordinary conservatives to choose sides, at the expense of the legitimacy of the federal government.

I don’t have much faith in lawsuits against the federal government in federal courts, which in the long term are destined to be captured by the opposition, but separate state action is a step toward real resistance.

Let us see the heel of federal tyranny whenever possible. At some point, White people will tire of being stomped on.

Thomas Perez is the LaRaza leftist who has spent his career trying to destroy America, it’s all about open borders and mass amnesty and utter destruction of the hated white race. The ‘stealth amnesty’ where the DOJ approved ICE taking on the authority to NOT deport illegals, basically giving them a stack of green cards to hand out to any illegal that hasn’t killed someone. It’s all legal in the DOJ’s opinion when it is to advance the liberal agenda to bankrupt and destroy America.

  2. Good. Now Scott can use his new found fortitude in other situations, cough cough, Angela Corey, cough cough.

  3. At some point, the States have got to tell Washington to “go to hell” and force the Central government to physically enforce their mandates. I don’t know why it’s taking so long.

  4. As much as I would like to believe this pusillanimous bastard actually grew a pair, I rather suspect he is just trying to guarantee his reelection.

Sharing the Homeland Security database sounds like collusion with the federal beast to me. Don’t be fooled. He is only a “useful idiot” at best in this case.

Rick Scott was born in Bloomington, Illinois and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. He’s no defender of states rights or the constitution as the Angela Corey appointment and the Stand Your Ground review panel show clearly. He is not a Southerner, just another carpetbagger like Jeb Bush and Charlie Crist.

If you think the Republicans will be our deliverance from BRA, you are simply mistaken. We’ve been down this road before too many times.

  5. Apuleius – you are right about Scott’s reasons – but so what? He’s doing the right thing for the wrong reasons. Unintended consequences begin to unfurl…..

God bless AZ. They have inadvertantly led the revolt. Telling ZOG to stick it is fun, and rewarding.

You may get your secession yet, Hunter
