Tales From Detroit: Half of Detroit’s Streetlights May Go Out As City Shrinks

In my review of Paul Kersey’s Escape From Detroit, I revived John C. Calhoun’s argument that black people lack the capacity to maintain civilization as the most parsimonious explanation of the decline of “The Paris of the West.”

In the 39th year of black ascendancy, Detroit continues to suffer from what has yet to be identified as “the legacy of freedom.” This story is another mile marker on the road to total collapse:

“Detroit, whose 139 square miles contain 60 percent fewer residents than in 1950, will try to nudge them into a smaller living space by eliminating almost half its streetlights.

As it is, 40 percent of the 88,000 streetlights are broken and the city, whose finances are to be overseen by an appointed board, can’t afford to fix them. Mayor Dave Bing’s plan would create an authority to borrow $160 million to upgrade and reduce the number of streetlights to 46,000. Maintenance would be contracted out, saving the city $10 million a year.”

Note: Now that some loose ends are tied up from March and April, I will be attacking the Caribbean Project with renewed vigor. In particular, we are going to explore post-independence Jamaica which is one of the most violent countries in the world. Kingston is the Detroit of the West Indies.

This ghastly distortion of sexual life has created the erotomaia that obsesses millions of victims in America, and which has now been brought to the Mother-soil of Europe by the American invasion.

    Hollywood-feminism has created a woman who is no longer a woman but cannot be a man, and a man who is devirilized into an indeterminate thing. The name given to this process is “the setting from” of woman and it is done in the name of “happiness,” the magic word of the liberal-communist-democratic doctrine.
