Who are the urban thugs in Atlanta?

After seeing the controversy surrounding Neal Boortz’s comments on “urban thugs,” I spent an hour this evening searching through Atlanta crime statistics.
Who are these “urban thugs” that are causing so many problems for citizens in “The City Too Busy To Hate”? Are these “urban thugs” the same “youths” who terrorized passengers on the MARTA train in April?
“The ATL” is a major city that is gradually becoming more White and less African-American.
From 2000 to 2010, Atlanta gained 22,763 Whites while losing 28,975 African-Americans. The White population has grown faster in Atlanta than in any other major city.
As the gallery can see, Atlanta is now 38.4 percent White and 54 percent African-American. The “urban thugs” who are terrorizing Atlanta have a darker complexion.

Here’s the most recent Atlanta crime data from the 1st Quarter of 2011:
Homicide
From January 2011 to March 2011, there were 12 homicides in Atlanta. Of those homicides, 12 were committed by African-Americans, or 100 percent of homicides.
Rape
From January 2011 to March 2011, there were 9 rapes in Atlanta. Of those rapes, 8 were committed by African-Americans, or 88.8 percent.
Robbery
From January 2011 to March 2011, there were 107 robberies in Atlanta. Of those robberies, 98 were committed by African-Americans, or 91.6 percent.
Aggravated Assault
From January 2011 to March 2011, there were 345 aggravated assaults in Atlanta. Of those aggravated assaults, 320 were committed by African-Americans, or 92.8 percent.
Burglary
From January 2011 to March 2011, there were 198 burglaries in Atlanta. Of those burglaries, 186 were committed by African-Americans, or 93.9 percent.
OD is reporting that crime in Atlanta is black. The “urban thugs” are black. The “youths” who terrorized the MARTA train were black.
If black people were removed from Atlanta, we can project that 90 percent of violent crime would disappear. The same is true of Chicago where 94.5 percent of violent crime is black.

It is a shame when Americans cannot feel safe in their homes. I sleep better at night knowing I have reinforced my door and windows. I found the buddy bar door jammer and use it 24/7 as crimes do not only happen at night. I also take it with me when I travel and stay in hotels. It’s is a nice feeling knowing that if someone wants to kick my door in they will have to really work at it and by that time I am armed or out the back window. Stay safe.
Elisa – when I was a child, my family did not know where our house keys were. They were lost for the better part of a decade. We never needed the house keys, ya see. That’s changed though. I’m not in my ood Home Town anymore. My dad still is (we are trying to get him to move. He’s very old). My Dad keeps the doors locked day and night, now….the Untermenschen have moved in, from the cities they’ve ruined.
They are at war with us brothers. They have an agenda, not a complicated one as that would be impossible, but an agenda nonetheless. Notice how they use “white boy” all the time? It means something to them. They run back to their hovels and snicker about it.
The year that OJ was acquited for killing a white woman he attended the BET awards, the cream of the black crop — and recieved a standing ovation. I’ll never forget it. Their hatred for us binds them.
While stationed in DC I worked with alot of the civilians at the Naval Annex. FYI, most of the goverment servants, the lower echelon ones, are black. Most the security personel, black. Anyway, of course everything moved slow as molasses and there was no organization unless a white man/woman was in charge. When they got together all they would do is bad mouth whitey. Kinda sad really.
The only race that ever caused any problems, the only race that just couldn’t seem to “fall in step”, in the Corps, were the blacks. Hell even the cab drivers in NYC hate them (60 minutes did a segment – why can’t blacks get a cab,lol, it was because they don’t tip). Anyway, I digress, they are a blight on our society and are f*ing up our military. Thank God for the special forces – who are all white BTW.
I can’t think of one thing they have contributed to the world that has improved it in any meaningful way. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

Well c’mon, this makes sense. Blacks make up about 12% of the population and they commit all but 11.2% of the rapes. That’s pretty inline with what you’d expect.
I concur. I unfortunately live in the Atlanta area. It’s “turning white” because the blacks keep following us further into the white suburbs, so finally the whites had no choice but to move back into downtown urban areas vacated by blacks. Then they fix up the urban neighborhoods and property values go up, while the formerly-white suburbs turn into ghettos. My oldest kid has 2 more years in high school (one of the only majority white school left in our county), then we plan to move to the Salt Lake City area to get the hell away from here. I used to teach in downtown Atlanta, and I agree with the poster who wrote that “we can’t have nice things”. Those little thuglets destroyed ANY nice thing I provided to my classroom, just for the hell of it.
