Thankfully, The New York Times has a convenient tool that allows us to see the color of welfare in Virginia. At a glance, we can contrast White usage with African-American usage.

In 2009, an average of 651,725 people participated each month on SNAP EBT cards. If 344,236 of them were African-American, that means African Americans were 53 percent of EBT card users in 2009.

African-Americans are 26 percent of poor people in Virginia. Yet they account for 53 percent of EBT card users.

In 2009, the average monthly foodstamp benefit was $118 in Virginia, and the average annual benefit was $1,416.

If there were 344,286 African-Americans on EBT cards in 2009, the federal government must have spent around $487,508,976 in Virginia to sustain 22 percent of the African-American population on life support.

Similarly, there were 167,900 African-Americans on Medicaid in Virginia in 2009, when a total of $5,774,994,043 was spent on the Medicaid program, which means that $923,999,046 (at a minimum) was spent by the federal government on black healthcare.

What is the effect of this?

Spending $1.4 billion dollars of taxpayer money in 2009 alone to subsidize the black underclass  in Virginia? Not including housing or cash assistance payments.

Remember, the Bone Thugs ‘N Harmony song, 1st of Da Month? With your taxpayer dollars, the federal government creates a moral hazard through “legalized robbery” with EBT cards, Medicaid, and subsidized housing that allows the African-American underclass to expand beyond its natural limits.

Essentially, this is what happens: Jomika is a welfare queen in Richmond who dropped out of Rosa Parks High School to live in the Booker T. Washington projects on Martin Luther King Boulevard with her sperm donor, Duquan. Thanks to libtards, they get free food at the Super Wal-Mart on the “1st of tha Month” and more money from the federal government when they engage in irresponsible behavior and have more kids.

When you get money from the government that allows you to have food, a cell phone, internet access, a house, healthcare, spending money, and an education for your kids, you are freed from all the responsibilities of manhood and using your time productively to earn a living to support yourself and your family.

Morality becomes impractical.

You can sit in the projects and watch BET or Black Starz (maybe read NewsOne, if you can do that) … or you can, say, do things with your idle time like impregnate more welfare queens and sell crack and other illicit drugs on the black market for profit, where your competition, which has been similarly relieved of all the responsibilities of having to deal with reality, have the same ideas you do about how to get ahead in life.

See, it is the “1st of the Month” that naturally and inevitably leads to “Tha Crossroads.”

If these African-American gentlemen had spent “Da 1st of the Month” working for a living (i.e., like White people) instead of slanging crack and impregnating welfare queens and all the other things that self described “thugs” glorify (like fighting the police), they wouldn’t be robbing and shooting each other in the ghetto and meeting up at “Tha Crossroads.”

What’s more, it is “Tha Crossroads” that naturally leads to “No Surrender.”

As violence spirals out of control in the Booker T. Washington projects, more police officers have to be hired to protect citizens and patrol the ghetto after Demetrius pops a cap in Duquan, more prisons have to be built to cage Demetrius for the rest of his life, and more African-Americans get “diversity jobs” in the private (and public sector) on the basis of the theory that role models like Barack Hussein Obama are necessary to inspire black youth.

The root cause of this is the economic distortion that is created in Virginia and other states with large black populations. It is all based on the absurd libtard idea that poverty is the cause of crime and that “social justice” requires robbing White people to redistribute wealth to blacks.

In Black Run America, the highest moral principle of our society is that black people are noble beings and that the neverending utopian project of uplifting blacks takes precedence over White freedom and property rights.

So what happens is that the government builds housing projects for welfare queens which have welfare babies who grow up to be thugs because the government has robbed them of their manhood.

Then the government has to rob White people even more because of the various unintended consequences create distortions throughout the economy. The misallocation of White wealth which is squandered on “investment” in the black community hampers economic growth and development that would otherwise take place.

We are only scratching the surface here.

Estimating the cost of Black Run America to one state in one year could prove impossible – it is beyond quantification. We also have to look at the connection between interest rates and the capital that is squandered on blacks, the White taxpayer dollars that are squandered on black education, and the insurance industry and the property damage unleashed every year by these welfare gremlins.

We also have to look at housing and the home security industry and every other way Whites in Virginia and the South have adapted to living in the racially maladaptive environment that is Black Run America.

Imagine Virginia … without African-Americans, without the distortions in our society created by the federal government.

In 2009, there were an average 75,530 recepients of TANF benefits (aka “welfare) per month. In 2006, the average TANF benefit per individual was $154 in 2006. In 2008, 62 percent of TANF families were African American or 46,828 of TANF recepients.

These aren’t the most accurate numbers (we will try to find more information), but we can use them to arrive at a ballpark estimate of the amount of African-Americans who were on welfare in Virginia in 2009 and how much money they received from the government.

There were about 906,360 total recepients of TANF benefits in 2009. If African-Americans were 62 percent of TANF families (a reasonable assumption), that means 561,951 total African-Americans (through multiple checks) were on welfare in Virginia, and were receiving an average of $1,848 per year as individuals.

If we run those numbers, we find that African-Americans in Virginia received something in the neighborhood of $1,038,466,968 dollars in TANF welfare in 2009, and when we combine that figure with the amount they are getting in EBT cards and Medicaid, we arrive at an estimate of $2.48 billion dollars being spent on them.

Does a sane society invest $2.48 billion dollars a year (not including prison costs or subsidized housing) in a community that produces 81.2 percent of robberies, 43.6 percent of rapists, and 64 percent of homicides?

Update:

In 2009, African-Americans were 62.2 percent of prisoners and Whites were 35.9 percent of prisoners in the Virginia Department of Corrections system.

In FY 2009, $1,049,492,091 was spent in Virginia on the prison system, which means that at least $652,784,080 dollars was wasted on maintaining idle blacks in prison. The average cost to taxpayers of maintaining an inmate in a Virginia prison was $24,665 per year in 2009.
