The Birthers

The war against birthright citizenship begins

District of Corruption

Last August, I wrote a post called Birthright Citizenship: Moving the Goalposts.

I drew attention to the fact that Senator Lindsey Graham, who once swore before the National Council of La Raza that he would “tell the bigots to shut up,” was suddenly making strange noises about ending birthright citizenship for the children of illegal aliens.

I distinctly remember finding Graham’s sudden reversal on immigration highly significant at the time. It left an impression upon me.

How did a fringe cause like ending birthright citizenship successfully penetrate the political mainstream and gain the support of advocates of comprehensive immigration reform? I sensed that there was a lot more to the story.

While the White Nationalist movement remained mired in its usual clownish street theatrics and perennial legal fiascoes over the summer, the conservative mainstream was suddenly becoming more interesting. I was starting to get the sense that things were changing on that front.

In the immediate background, Arizona had spent months fighting with the Obama Justice Department. The Tea Party was beating its drum and marching toward the midterm elections. John McCain was fighting for survival against J.D. Hayworth in the Arizona Republican Senate primary.

This hardening of racial attitudes on immigration had building up for months, years even, but it was the arrival of birthright citizenship on the squishy leftwing of the Republican Party that finally grabbed my attention and caused me to start taking a closer look at mainstream politics.

I hadn’t taken a strong interest in mainstream conservative politics since my junior year of college.

The Birthers

Tomorrow, Rep. Daryl Metcalfe of Pennsylvania and State Legislators for Legal Immigration will be holding a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington, DC to announce a campaign by state legislators in 14 states to attack birthright citizenship for illegal aliens.

Arizona State Sen. Russell Pearce will be unveiling the model legislation. Lawmakers in Alabama, Arizona, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas and Utah will be taking part in the effort.

The plan is to pass model legislation to end birthright citizenship in different parts of the country. The subsequent lawsuits will result in conflicting decisions in federal court which will eventually force the Supreme Court to weigh in on the issue.

Kris Kobach, who was recently elected Kansas Secretary of State, will be spearheading the legal defense of the new state laws, a few of which are almost certain to be passed.

SLLI has “a working partnership” with FAIR. The ideas which are hatched in restrictionist think tanks and organizations like FAIR and CIS are being translated into policy initiatives like Arizona’s SB 1070 which are getting pushed through Republican controlled state legislatures.

The SPLC is already screaming about FAIR’s “nasty track record of hate” and “history of racism.” It certainly helps matters that the SPLC and NAACP have been recently condemned as “hate groups” by mainstream conservatives.

They can blow the bugle of “racism” now until the cows come home. No one takes them seriously anymore. Both of these anti-White hate groups have suffered a crushing loss of legitimacy in Red America.

The mainstream media was unanimously in favor of comprehensive immigration reform and the DREAM Act amnesty. Progressive journalists spent months decrying to no effect the Tea Party, Arizona’s racist “papers please” law, and all the “nativists” and “bigots” in flyover country who opposed the DREAM Act.

The so-called lemmings out there don’t watch Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow. They don’t read Heidi Beirich and Frank Rich either.

Now, if the SPLC and The New York Times happens to be in favor of something, it is taken as a positive indicator that ordinary White people should be opposed to it.

Multiple Fronts

There are so many new fronts opening up in the immigration wars this month that I simply don’t have the time to cover them all. Let me get you up to speed:

(1) In Tennessee, an anti-illegal immigration law that was passed last year has recently taken effect. It requires jailers to report illegal aliens to ICE.

(2) In California, a Hispanic state legislator is trying to push through a state based amnesty law.

(3) In Colorado, outgoing Democratic Governor Bill Ritter has finally signed on his state to the Secure Communities program.

(4) In Oklahoma, the all out push for the most radical restrictionist state immigration laws in the country has begun.

(5) In Arizona, the ban on ethnic studies that passed last year has recently taken effect.

(6) In Maryland, a Hispanic state legislator is pushing for a state version of the DREAM Act.

(7) In Nebraska, state legislators are gearing up to enact an Arizona-style immigration law and other restrictionist measures.

(8) In Florida, which I have been intending to cover for months, the long awaited fight for the Arizona-style immigration law has begun.

(9) In Kentucky, the debate over the Arizona-style immigration law has erupted, and critics are saying that the proposed crackdown there goes even further.

(10) In Georgia, the legislative session begins next Monday and action on immigration will begin as soon as next Tuesday.

(11) In Wyoming, just hours ago the story broke that an Arizona-style immigration law is in the works.

Something interesting and related to immigration is now going on in almost every state in the country. Everywhere I look the conservative populists are pushing for new restrictionist state laws and progressives are opposing them.

Final Thoughts

Yggdrasil’s recent suggestion that White Nationalists seek out staff positions with populist conservative state legislators was right on target.

There are a whole new crop of Republican state legislators who are hardline restrictionists on immigration. Some of these people are willing to go beyond Arizona-style immigration laws and into the more treacherous territory of attacking legal immigration and birthright citizenship.

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that this is the pool from which the next crop of U.S. Senators and Congressmen are going to be recruited from. Now is an excellent time to burrow into the mainstream and start laying the foundation for their rise to higher offices.

Kris Kobach’s election in Kansas is proof that the best way to advance the White Nationalist movement is through advancing yourself in the process. With mainstream legitimacy, public opinion, and the power of a mass movement behind your efforts, you will be in a position to move the goal posts offensively and inflict crushing defeats upon our enemies.

That’s the difference between a real vanguard and a purely imaginary one. Let’s get to work.

  1. Birthright citizenship is an issue that’s been around since the mid 1990s. Move along, nothing to see here. Just more sabre rattling to rile up the ignorant masses into believing something will really be done this time.

  2. Ahhh….Rodger. Please re-read this essay until you comprehend that people in power are actually ….ahhh…doing something.

Almost everything I’ve ever written, anywhere, on the Net has been for my own exclusive entertainment. I have to be constantly reminded that people read things. For the longest time, I never imagined that any-one ever seriously considered anything I wrote.

This is not true. This is not what’s happened.

Things I’ve written have had coonsequences in my actual daily life. Good and bad. I knew, intellectually, that people read things, and consider what they read. But on a sort of….emotional personal level – not so much.

    Wierd, huh?

I’ve written a few “serious ” things, here and there – but nothing on the analytical level that so many WN witers have written. Which is why I alwayy come back to these sites -even wicky wacky ones. (VNN. Which I love. They are so crude and awful and funny – and even right, about losta things. Not “respectable” at all – and I love that site). I always learn something on *all* Nationalist sites.

I have now arrived at my point – Ridger – don’t you think that all sorts of folks read these sites? Including law-makers, and politicos, and all sorts of money people.

The meltdown in CA and AZ has revealed, with blinding, merciless clarity, the mass invasion of violent, low-IQ Mestizos was not such a hot idea after all. Not for the bottom line. It’s getting pretty obvious that they cost a lot more than they yield. The realization that the advancement of Blacks, in a White social order, stinks too, but has been on a much slower trajectory – but this will be admitted, as well, once the Mestizos Suck Wall has been breached.

The Yids are pretty secure in their talon like grip on America’s throat. I think the schmarter ones are finally realizing that no other host population will do for them as Whitey has done. And that their Darling Pet Darkies are not as controllable as they once believed they would be. Malleable – yes. Moldable and servicable – not so much. It’s easy to incite violence and destruction. Building and creating takes talent, and skill. So perhaps the time is right to end, or ease us, on the laws designed and created to benefit the Jews – since those privileges don’t work so well on the Swarthy Goy.

It’s not saber-rattling Rodger. It’s about What’s Good for the Jew.

P.S. – I’m sick. A wicked stomache virus, round these parts. I crashed very early in the PM. Slept for hours. Woke up, wide awake, a few hours ago. Caught a bit of Glenn Beck’s show. I loathe him – but I was pleasantly surprised to see he aired the Nigras Tear Up A Nice Mall video. That’s been hot hot hot on WN sites. Beck didn’t cite the …shudder!…Race! Mercy!…. of the Nigras of course – but picture say things that words do not. Hmmmmmm…I wonder if…Beck staffers, and program directors….scan…some WN….shhhh! …websites….for interesting material.

I’ve been sayng, for ages, that Michael Weiner pulls at minimum 50% of his show material off Stormfront.

  3. Rodger,

It’s all about moving the goal post.

    Unthinkable
    Radical
    Acceptable
    Sensible
    Popular
    Policy

Overton Window, homes. Check it out. It’s how the lefties won it.

  4. Isn’t it funny how the “men of ideas” at CIS, FAIR, and NumbersUSA seem to get shit done?

Can someone please tell me how they manage to work through “the system that kills people” to inflict defeat after defeat upon our enemies?

  5. The following 38 states are going to try to pass some form of illegal immigration crackdown in 2011/2012:

Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Arkansas, Virginia, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, Iowa, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Delaware.

I know of something in the works in each of these states.

  6. Savrola,

It seems to me that the choice is between these “senile geezers” like Russell Pearce and Kris Kobach (personally, I didn’t know Kobach was that old) who have already succeeded in driving out hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens in Arizona and your dwindling merry little band of forum clowns who have spent half a decade cracking jokes about Niccolo and other people like Todd Fahey no one else in America cares about.

What are you doing here anyway?

Has activity collapsed below the 10 member threshold or something?

  7. If you wanted to post something on a partisan political website that would dispirit and demoralize the readers there and make them stop caring about issues that mattered to them…

Would you engage them in debate there knowing that you would be outnumbered and likely outargued? Or would you post something like “Move along, nothing to see here. You’re an ignorant lemming foolish enough to believe something will really get done this time.”

Funny how the hard bitten, cynical, “the system is so messed up it’s hopeless” point of view is indistinguishable from a leftist pretender trying to spread defeatism, isn’t it?

No way to know who is who, but the effect is the same. And that says it all.

  8. Hunter Wallace writes:

“Isn’t it funny how the “men of ideas” at CIS, FAIR, and NumbersUSA seem to get shit done?”

    Jack Ryan replies:

I agree that NumbersUSA has been outstanding in recent years – mobilizing huge numbers of (White) Americans to do very effective activism that results in specific victories for our people on immigration.

But, FAIR has done very little and is frankly suspect. Vdare editors, writers say that FAIR does next to nothing except hang out with the Washington Beltway establishment.

Did I mention that I interviewed for a job with FAIR’s director Dan Stein in the early 1990s? I described my personal illegal immigration experiences in late 1980s New York City, including my up close and personal, face to face contacts with Muslim extremist like the ones that bombed the World Trade Center in 1993.

Even then, when I wasn’t 100% sure of the Jewish situation, I thought it very odd that this Jew Dan Stein was heading up the leading American immigration control foundation and not really saying or doing much of anything about the brutal atrocities committed by illegal aliens.

Well, my job interview with Dan Stein at FAIR went about as well as my job interviews with the American Spectator magazine – both shied away from anything even remotely connected with discussing crime, racial realities.

  9. Jews run CIS too. Steinlight is one their principal leaders. The FAIR and CIS Jews probably approach these issues like the Jews who hang around Amren. They understand that Jews won’t flourish under a non-White majority, hence their opposition to immigration.

While we should always be wary of CIS and other groups with significant Jewish involvement, I dont think there should be any doubt CIS is doing work that helps us for now. Heavy Jewish involvement in CIS also has useful propaganda value. In my arguments with the anti-White liberals, I’ve won points with neutral observers by pointing out that Jews run CIS. It’s an easy way to rebut the bromide that only anti-semetic White racists oppose immigration.

  10. @ Hunter

Graham’s smart enough to know, that it’s just a matter of time, before it starts getting pointed out on national TV that 99.5% of these Mexican & Latin American invaders are Roman Catholics. That open up a whole can worms for guys like Graham—which side are you on Graham?

  11. So Jews control the anti-immigration organizations as well as the pro? Our politics seem be all come down to Jewish catfights. I suppose that some Jews see non-White immigration as a threat, but they have no intention of letting things get out of (Jewish) hand(s). So be it. Use the Jews, then lose the Jews.

  12. Pitts III: I don’t think the national Jews media will risk pointing out the religious affiliation of the Hispanics. The wetbacks could then point out the “religious” affiliation of most of the MSM. Browns don’t buy any of that “Judeo-Christian” crap.

  13. Mccain = Manchurian Candidate. Creatures like McCain are the reason why the writings of Dr. W. Pierce remain so popular in our circles. The idea of the Day of the Rope is …..so…….very….satisfying.

  14. One thing we have been lacking is that when the professional anti-whites start calling our new found GOP friends racist they will turn on us.

Of course I have the solution, we fire right back in their faces that the Fedgov has as part of its policy for hiring and contracting a racial heirarchy standard therefor negating what for decades has been the trump card.

The Libs blew it and they don’t even know it, but they will.

  15. Savrola- the politcal class knows the well has run dry. The Orcs just take. Something’s gotta give.

    The Orcs WILL go.

  16. Another good post but why must every single post now a days have references to Vanguardists?

We know where you stand. You have made your point. I agree with you as do many others. That is why we come here.

Yet every article you take swipes at them again and again thus turning the discussion once again about Vanguardism instead of the subject the article was meant to address.

Its time to move on. Enough with this. Let them do their thing in the Northwest Republic or wherever and forget about it.

  17. This is fantastic news. I hope all of these National Conservatives in the state legislatures live up to their promises and efforts. It makes me feel great that at long last the Overton Window is moving in our direction.

  18. @ Discard

You can’t escape the fact that 99.5% of the mestizo/zambo/indios invaders from Mexico & Latin America are Roman Catholics.

  19. TJN,

I said nothing about them in the initial article. If you are wondering why we return to this subject in the comments, it is because they always come here to pick a fight.

Hey guys … let’s gut the 14th Amendment and end birthright citizenship for the 300,000 illegals every year that are born as Americans in the United States.

The vanguard will find something to fight about no matter about no matter how obvious it benefits White people. When the fight against the DREAM Act was going on, they came here to argue about that as well.

I don’t post on their websites. I don’t write about them anymore either.

  20. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Lamar Smith (R-TX) discusses his immigration plans for the opening months of the 112th Congress on the January 4, 2011, edition of FOX News Channel’s “On the Record with Greta Van Susteran” program.

  21. Earlmundo Armando,

You can’t escape the fact that 99.5% of the mestizo/zambo/indios invaders from Mexico & Latin America are Roman Catholics.

They are animal sacrificing santaria and voodoo “Catholics.” But, yes, the RC’s will claim all billion of them as their own.

  22. Savrola,

    (1) Missouri is one of the four states coordinating their efforts to end birthright citizenship for illegal aliens.

    (2) Umm … in my experience, it is easy to directly contribute to candidates and organize conservative voters around insurgent campaigns. We don’t have to take over the RNC or its counterparts to take over the Republican Party.

    (3) Running as a third party candidate is a waste of time when you can take advantage of blind partisanship to win a sizable percentage of the vote.

    (4) It makes no sense to run, say, as a Constitution Party candidate in Alabama when you can run as a Republican now and campaign for almost every we want on immigration.

    (5) Illegal immigration is dramatically down from record highs.

    (6) The number of illegals in states like Florida, Arizona, and Virginia has decreased in recent years.

    (7) We know from the Mexican government’s own statistics (they keep track of remittances flows) that Arizona’s laws have succeeded in driving out several hundred thousand illegals there already.

    (8) A good number of them have in fact returned to Mexico from Arizona.

    (9) Speaking of chicken plants, it was a chicken plant that employed illegal aliens in my hometown that first got me concerned about immigration back in 2001. As it happens, none of those illegals are there anymore because of work site enforcement raids. They packed up and moved on to some other locale.

    (10) Conservatives don’t have any problem using the internet for more productive purposes. NumbersUSA, for example, is an excellent and useful website.

    (11) You never answered my question. Has activity collapsed below the 10 poster threshold?

    (12) If you want to lead a chorus of idiots in cyberspace who do nothing but talk about other people, that’s your choice. Plenty of White people read the internet to search for solutions to their problems.

  23. “You can’t escape the fact that 99.5% of the mestizo/zambo/indios invaders from Mexico & Latin America are Roman Catholics.”

And not opposed to ethnic solidarity and conquest. Whatever spiritual bastardization left wing Catholic politicians believe in it is clearly not universally believed by all. And may they be the first to either repent or be burned at the stake… Right after all the Protestants, who have so enjoyed the destruction of the West in their relish to convince themselves that Truth isn’t so important that it can’t be made up as we go along. The resulting gaps in culture being promptly filled by Jews.

Sorry for the off-topic rant. Somebody had to address that damn fool. Whatever portion of the West survives, it’s definitely not going to be the “make it up as you go along” portion, which is about as strong as mist when confronted with the ancient tribal magic of the Chosen.

  24. The incoming republiccan majority house leader is a zionist neo-con jew and the head of the party is Black.. oh yea I can feel the change coming.
I do beleive that your right on that WN need to get with a legitimate party but the zinoist have a stranglehold on any real change but I do believe it is possible yes.

    Jack Ryan replies:

Please. The head of the RNC – Republican National Committee has virtually no power – it’s fund raising, hosting some social parties. Washington is a bloated bureacracies and think tanks – sure there will be such types, but the Red State White takeover of the GOP, Congress was grass roots and lots of the grass roots are going to Washington and then the power networking, march through the institutions begins.

The GOP Majority leader is a problem as were so many RINOs that got taken down. So add the guy to the list with Sen Dick Lugar being at the top of the list.

  26. The so-called lemmings out there don’t watch Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow. They don’t read Heidi Beirich and Frank Rich either. – HW

This is correct. We reactionary types often give these whacky liberal types more press than they deserve because their views are so opposed to our own. Rich and Maddow, etc are not reaching a large audience who agree with their shrillness. They are, for the most part, preaching to a choir which amounts to maybe 1/5 of all Americans. Furthermore, it is not hard for middle-of-the-road types to see how hostile these people really are, they practically cannot contain their venom. And like Kievsky says, when the economic goodies dry up, people are less inclined to buy into the multicult especially with its increasingly pushy and demanding ways.

  27. Pitts III: If you’re looking, you can’t escape the fact that that Jews control the economy, the media, Washington DC, and a lot else. But people Do miss those facts, and Jews like it that way. They do not want anyone looking at the Hispanics’ religion from a political or social perspective, lest anyone start asking questions about their own religion. It will be up to you to let the world know about Catholic immigration, and the Jews and their media aren’t about to help you.

  28. dan neil,

A real jackass might point out that Michael Steele is almost certainly gone as RNC Chairman, it is an irrelevant figurehead post anyway, and that Eric Cantor voted against the DREAM Act, which means he turned out to be more useful on immigration than you people.

Michael Savage is also a Jew. Michelle Malkin is a a Filipino. They were both more useful than the vanguard in saving us from the DREAM Act amnesty.

What does it say about the vanguard that Jews and non-Whites and even scumbags like William Gheen are doing more to help out White Americans than they are?
