In 1958, Disney created the popular myth of lemming “mass suicide” with the film White Wilderness. In reality, the film footage of the animals was created by using a device to push them off a cliff to certain death.

Suicide is a personal, willful act of self-destruction. That’s not at all what’s happening.
Amongst our own kind, many people are unaware that anything is wrong. Many are, and actively oppose it. Many others are doing what is in their own short term interests, the rest of us be damned. Then there are the others, not our kind, who are complicit and benefit.
The proper word is genocide. The deliberate defamation and destruction of a people.
The next time somebody asserts it’s suicide, ask them if they’re trying to kill themselves. I know I’m not.
