Can America Be Saved? II

Guy White has weighed in on the Arthur Kemp debate. He’s back with his usual yardstick: is it good for the Jews? Following the BNP, Kemp rejects Judeo-obsessivism. So now he is getting rave reviews from the philo-Semites. Who could have ever predicted that?

Judeo-obsessivism and Anti-Semitism

An important distinction seems to be lost on G.W. and his fanclub. A “Judeo-obsessive” is an anti-Semite who reduces every racial malady to Jewish influence. We’ve had irrational commentators on this website before who subscribe to the Single Jewish Cause. A “Judeo-obsessive” is a certain type of anti-Semite, not an anti-Semite per se.

Kemp isn’t saying we should ignore the Jewish Question. He is arguing that it should be kept in the proper context. Jewish influence is one important factor among several others in White racial decline. A small group of anti-Semites get fixated on the Jews and ignore every other aspect of the problem. These people are “Judeo-obsessives.” They bring anti-Semitism into disrepute.

For his mild criticism of Judeo-obsessives, Guy White has overreacted and given Arthur Kemp his seal of approval: he’s definitely not a Nazi! Poor G.W. hasn’t done his research or he would never have made that statement. According to the SPLC, Kemp has close ties to the National Alliance and has been working with Erich Gliebe to revive the organization. A bona fide philo-Semite wouldn’t touch Gliebe and the NA with a ten foot pole.

Anti-Semitism and “Derangement”

Guy White is incapable of presenting his opposition as anything more than a straw man caricature.  In order to prove the “derangement” of anti-Semites, he attributes extreme positions to opponents and points out how ridiculous they are:

- Every person with political power is Jewish.
- Jews never contributed any positive technological inventions or scientific breakthroughs.
- If Jews were starved to death, rather than gassed, this proves there was no genocide.
- Jews control the world.
- Jews dedicate their lives to undermining their Gentile hosts.
- Anti-Semites go nuts at the slightest bit of evidence.
- Philo-Semites present “overall statistics” whereas their opponents do not.
- Nazis get their information from likeminded websites and blogs.

Guy White knows very well that I have never made any of these claims on Occidental Dissent. He also anticipated that I would object to the nonsense above, but he has never once linked to this blog. Obviously, he is afraid that his audience will see how unfounded his various claims are. I have always linked to him because I have never had any problem with my readers seeing the other side of the story on the Jewish Question. I have also never banned a commentator either for presenting an opposing view. This includes Guy White himself who has posted here before.

In contrast, G.W. prefers to censor his commentariat and attack the weakest arguments of his anti-Semitic opponents, not their strongest ones. It is easy to dismiss an anti-Semite who claims that every major political figure in the United States is Jewish. That’s obviously false. It is much harder to argue against those who simply say that White America, racially and culturally speaking, would be better off without Jewish influence in our society.

The case against the Jews comes entirely from mainstream sources. More often than not these sources are Jewish scholars or Jewish controlled newspapers. For example, the source of “the 60% figure” in the political donations debate was The Washington Post, not a fringe anti-Semitic blog. The other sources were J.J. Goldberg, Henry Feingold, Benjamin Ginsberg, Mearsheimer and Walt, and The Jerusalem Post. All the mainstream sources were in agreement that Jews are responsible for at least half of all donations to the Democratic Party. You would never know this though from reading Guy White.

Traffic

Occidental Dissent’s traffic has been growing by leaps and bounds. This was going on long before the Jewish Power debate. A few weeks ago, OD was around #350,000 on Alexa in the United States. It has since risen to #220,329, #176,226, and now #151,488 in the United States. The Alexa traffic rating is a three month combination of average daily visitors and pageviews. The ranking has increased because we had a lot more traffic in August and September than June and July.

The jump in traffic is mostly due to networking offline behind the scenes, word of mouth, daily blogging, and the inclusion of co-bloggers. It has little to due with my debate with Guy White. As I pointed out above, he has never once linked here. We have a lot of backlinks from TOQ Online and other racialist websites. This is where most of our new readers are coming from. I see the referrals in the Admin panel on Who’s Online.

Guy White’s site has hovered in the #40,000 to #50,000 range since I have been checking the Alexa rating. He’s #40,839 on Alexa right now. VNN Forum is #40,502. Steve Sailer is #40,561. Takimag is #40,476. Stormfront is #4,375. His traffic isn’t due to philo-Semitism. The two major anti-Semitic forums have a lot more readers. It has more to due with the fact that his site is updated daily and that he has been blogging for over a year now. I resumed actively blogging on May 21st. That was almost six months ago.

Ian Jobling’s White America, which has similar content, is a distant #458,707 in the U.S. White America is a ghost town because Jobling hasn’t done a good job of updating his site. In other news, Auster’s VFR has fallen back to #71,036 in the United States, so G.W. can now legitimately claim to be the premiere philo-Semitic blogger.

Political Activism

The anti-Semite David Duke was the most successful racialist political candidate of the last twenty years. He was an elected member of the Louisiana House of Representatives for several years. He ran unsuccessfully for the Louisiana Senate, Governor of Louisiana, U.S. Senator from Louisiana, U.S. House of Representatives, and President of the United States. He won the majority of the White vote in two of his campaigns from Governor and U.S. Senator. In Alabama, Larry Darby (a race-mixing, atheist, Holocaust denier) won 43% of the vote in the 2006 Democratic primary for Alabama Attorney General.

The only region of the country where racialists have any chance of political success is the Deep South (South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana) where White racial attitudes are still relatively strong. I grew up in Alabama in the heart of the Bible Belt. From anecdotal experience, I know the statistics are misleading. People around here (in particular, the young) aren’t nearly as religious as the polls suggest they are. They don’t care nearly as much about the Jews as the philo-Semites suggest they do.

The anti-Semite John Rankin from Mississippi served 16 consecutive terms in U.S. House of Representatives. He caused Rep. M. Michael Edelstein (D-NY) to die of a heart attack on the House floor. Theodore Bilbo was Governor of Mississippi and served two terms as U.S. Senator from Mississippi. Anti-Semites can and have won races in the Deep South. The problem is not anti-Semitism. It is that there are no racialist candidates bothering to run.

Communists and White Nationalists

The communist position on race (in the 1910′s and 1920′s) was adopted by mainstream liberals (1930′s and 1940′s) and conservatives (1950′s and 1960′s).  Glenda Gilmore documents this transition of radical anti-racist rhetoric from the communist fringe to the mainstream in Defying Dixie: The Radical Roots of Civil Rights, 1919-1950. The communists didn’t have to “move forward” because the mainstream left hijacked their issues.

G.W.’s analogy fails. A more appropriate analogy would be to William F. Buckley and the conservative movement. Buckley watered down the right out of political pragmatism and excluded some of its best minds like Revilo P. Oliver. Instead of fighting the culture war, mainstream conservatives focused on winning elections. The result: fifty years later the right has been routed by the left on every cultural issue. The last Republican presidential nominee was John McCain, a multiculturalist, anti-racist, open borders advocate. If that is winning, what do you call losing?

If White Nationalism ever hopes to enter the mainstream, we must pull the national political conversation our way (like the communist vanguard), not the other way around (like the conservative movement). This means the mainstream right has to become more like us, not us more like them.

Conclusion

Kemp is wrong about the “cancer” he describes. The kooks and fringe characters that he laments were the White Nationalist mainstream in the 1980′s. In the 1990′s and 2000′s, they were marginalized within the movement by a new breed of racialist. Carol Swain and Leonard Zeskind, hardly fans of ours, have documented this in The New White Nationalism in America (2002) and Blood and Politics (2009). The typical White Nationalist is a middle class, college educated white male professional who is unaffiliated with any racialist organization.

White Nationalists are attacked for who we are and what we represent, not for our previous associations. Unlike the conservatives, we represent a potent threat to the liberal mainstream. You can’t be “pro-White” and “respectable” in the eyes of our anti-racist elite. The philo-Semites resent having to make that choice and scapegoat the racialist fringe (the Neo-Nazis, Klan, Christian Identity, skinheads) for their loss of status. In doing so, they exaggerate the influence of the fringe out of all proportion to their actual numbers.
